No you can't, if a conversion doesn't work and you continue to use it there is very little I can do to help. Sorry. You might be able to remove the blocks that are causing trouble though?

I think that would be best, I don't claim to be an expert on the matter but I did write it. The 1.4 version wasn't out when Aragaith posted that link for you. The 1.5 won't change anything you will notice, it just fixes some minor bugs, but you might as well use it if you are downloading a new version.

Are you talking about the other fix Leroy posted? It's a different fix. I don't know if you have noticed but it's hard enough getting people to find their own fixes to problems with the error in the subject and stickied. Trying to get people to actually use the search function and look through the content of the posts is a lost cause I fear.

Other way around I think, 2.0 client and 2.1 Server? Update your client to Tekkit 2.1 if that's the case.

Please do this and include the version of the server you are connecting to.

It looks like the Tekkit 2.1 server is currently not compatible with the recommended version of java and requires Java 1.7 Update to Java 1.7 to fix this problem. Hopefully. Java 1.7 can be found here. I'm not providing support for installing Java. I'm afraid you will have to figure that bit out yourself. Also please ensure that if you have a 64bit OS you are using the 64 bit version of java. Thanks to tradari for pointing this out.
