  1. something tells me they dont enjoy new versions of Minecraft as much as we do xD
  2. i guess they'll just wait till all the mods in the pack support 1.6 and then concentrate on their pack and platform if they're not on it already. that is of course IF they want to support 1.6
  3. so wait, i thought the holes were wider. are they just 1x1x3 holes??????
  4. so basically the laser drill uses more power than what the 4 pre-chargers can actually provide? edit: i hope you dont mind but im using the idea of your sheep holes to accomodate as many cows as i can in a 31*31 room xD. its so fun to do things on such scales.
  5. Magnus.... did you erased a mystcraft age by any chance? i found out that if you erase a mystcraft age from the wrong place all new ages actually crash. edit: one small question, are mods updated automatically on Tekkit main? I'm asking because for a while now I've been reading several modes updated (inside the game in the chat) and the most recent one is Galacticraft.
  6. all ive found on the moon are the buggy's schematics and ton of meteoric ingots that u used to make a 3x3 airlock on my bunker. no particular use..... its just fun xD are the newest updates announced on the chat actually applied to the current version of tekkit main or i have to download them manually? i guess ill post this on the main tekkit XD
  7. good job man. i loved your cactus farm and the mob grinder you're so proud of. nice idea of using the belts. and yeah, you need a chunk loader in your base to transport power. the reason quarries work without chunk loaders is well..the quarry itself is a chunk loader xD. ty for the pictures, really cool. speaking of quarries and chunkl loaders... has anyone noticed that the quarries in the moon dont load up when you restart the game? you gotta go there and force the load then the quarry works as usual. is it me or this has happened to you?
  8. The files were uncompressed. The backups are compressed.
  9. Agreed, i believe that this post helped me a lot too. just like you, i started slow with only 4 ingredients and one generator. now i just dont know what to do to spend all the power i can produce..... 50 biogens??? lol. id like to see some screenshots too!! on way to learn how to improve one's design is to compare it to other people's xD Also Gildan, i noticed the annoying sound the leaves do when they are being cut, so the design of my farm was basically 40 levels under my main bunker so i never have to listen to it. I'm doing exactly the same with the cows, sheeps and pigs I'm about to accommodate in another gigantic underground room. Edit: i loved your sheep holes XD
  10. i dont know if i would like to start on a whole new adventure to see if i can do the same that youre doing on your system to create items only when you drop to 6000...... i mean DSU can store up to 2 billion or something crazy like that... (iirc) i think it was direwolf that said so in his mod spotlight.
  11. i think its called laser drill and laser drill prechargers respectively
  12. that's perfect thank you guys. i guess that if i go into the help page i can find how to delete the dimensions in game if there is such a function. edit: yeah.... over 600 Megs just in pocket unused dimensions...... what a waste of space.
  13. hello there, i was just wondering if dimensional doors is the one making my game saves so huge. I spent a couple days just roaming the DD world, looting and looking for those lovely diamond blocks that are hidden all around the place. A couple days ago, when i was making my routine world backup, i noticed that my save was HUGE. from a couple seconds save to literally minutes, and many of the files were name Dim...etc. me main question here is... can i delete both, mystcraft and dim worlds without repercussions on my main world?
  14. And here i was getting ready to use my portaspawner to get a blaze spawn.... I completely forgot about mfr spawners.
  15. Yeah, like Dewfire said. If you use storage buses from AE, you can turn almost any block with an internal storage into part of the network and depending on priorities, will use it for storage and take stuff out too. ( containers that already have items of that kind will always have highest priority afaik). The mining laser is an end game block from MFR that consumes Massive amounts of energy. If what the guys here said was accurate a single mining laser can consume up to 4000 mj/t (holy cow is this true??) Dewfire, keep in mind the fertilizer uses retarded amounts of industrial fertilizer....mine goes through 9 stacks in minutes! The good thing is that once your reactors are at maximun efficiency, they last forever.... I might need to turn the farm off sometime in the future. I already have more wood than any other item in my entire network.
  16. are there plans to add your own alternative to liquid storage? Vanilla tanks and portable tanks are quite useful, but gigantic rooms filled with pipes and those ugly tanks are not fun, those take way too much space. unless I'm missing something where i can store massive amounts of liquid.
  17. Just logged on to show you guys the fruits of this thread and your tips. I obviously exaggerated when i built this but it seems to work perfectly fine XD -An emerald planter surrounded by 3 emerald harvesters and a fertilizer with a woodcutter cart to get the extra sapling. -The auto crafting to get the seeds (thank you very much for this idea) -Below the bio reactors for the export plus the logistics pipes for the 9th item. ( i dont trust logistics to give the the 9 items, during my trial they kept dropping lots of items randomly) -The result of running the Bio reactors at full power -And finally the results of so many farms and side-products. Ive been watching this thread closely and im glad to know that i can easily run 50 bio gens with that setup no problem. MOAR quarries... xD Edit: ignore the pumpkins at the edge... those were the ones i manually harvested until i got the autocrafting tables
  18. o wow..... then ive been waiting for nothing...... guess ill leave all that uraninite alone for now. lets make Deuterium!!! xD
  19. that's......absolutely brilliant......yet so simple.....i never really thought of making sure the spots on the inventory were always filled with at least one item.... wow. the reason i dont use my main network is because i want the jobs to be passed on. i have a quarry that takes all items into an ender chest, from which it takes everything and them exports all ores to another simple sub-network whose job is to simply smelt the ores as efficiently as possible ( i used pulverizers and powered furnaces instead of the induction smelted to avoid getting into issues regarding the sand ). Basically i have several networks to keep my main network (the one i use for crafting) as simple as possible. All the other sub-nets are basically maintenance free, so i just let them be. That's why i wanted to make sure i always had maximum efficiency on the Bio reactors. well, as much as i love making huge sub-net modules your tip is making me remodel my entire production system. lol. i got now MOAR stuff to do. thanks man XD i loved that tip. also i used stones to fill up the spaces that i never used to avoid extra stuff. lovely.
  20. oh, the level emitters activate the exporters so that the system only keeps a desired amount of items in the chosen inventory. As an example; i wanted to have a planter with 4 different items, carrots, potatoes, seeds and Oak saplings. If i wanted to export any item into the planter the exporter would fill up the planter to the brim with any random amount, maybe even a single item, leaving my planter without the other required crops. By using emitters and the sub-net i can control exactly how many of each type are in the planter at all times. The one downside to this setup is that if you try to fill up multiple planters with different seeds it doesn't work. its not much of a problem since a planter with an emerald upgrade covers up so much space it doesn't matter( i have one emerald planter supplying 5 bio reactors). Nice setup, it looks quite clean.... mind explaining how did you set it up? for the life of me i cant figure out how to use interfaces to interact with other networks..... if you notice none of my setups actually connect networks directly xD. I'm currently working in one 8 item sub-net but i cant finish it since i cant figure out how those damned things work. http://imgur.com/FQEPQ6J http://imgur.com/wjwtUAu
  21. Somebody spent months of outdoors life to make that city. its insane. i wouldve gone insane just after one of those buildings.
  22. where do you read all those news about lemming making new stuff and all???
  23. small download, and works xD https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12245958/Machine%20Testing%20Grounds.rar
