  1. Haven'nt gone throu all power couplings in the game. But redstone energy conduit bottleneck at 10k RF/tic and so does Resonant Energycell so I can't use those on a big turbine or I will lose alot of power. Is there anyone couplings that can handle a big turbine?

It is more then 3 times bigger since thermometer and fission reactor takes upp one block each. 3*3-2= 7 5*5-2=23 when the rods are upp you loose 2 more blocks of water. 3*3-4= 5 5*5-4=21 so when the rods are upp its slightly more then 4 times bigger. Not worth going big turbines so smaller are better if I got it all right.
  3. Yeah power isn't an issue anymore in tekkit. The only one worth building is a bioplant but if you wanna go big it get so extreamly heave on the client and also some on the server. Since our server brokedown and the problem was Minefactory related I dont dare startup my big biopark again since I don't know what part if MF that caused it. Now I don't know what to build to generate alot of power and not go silly like a gasillion dynamo park so for now I'm probably gonna build a fission power plant and mix in turtle and what else I can find out to put in use to autmate it some challenging way.
  4. Don't know how this mod is ment to work but it seems that steam funnel are the one that is broken in this mod. Remove the steam funnel and put small turbines directrly over the water and you will have alot of power from this mod again.
  5. One small turbine producing 3995 RF/tic isn't enough?
  6. When I first put a steam funnel and then a small turbine it only produces 100 RF/tic.
  7. hmmm never got in depth with atomic science but from where Im standing it seems way to op. I have put the small turbines directly over the 3*3 heated water and upgraded it to one big turbine and I got alot of power. When I used TE's multimeter on the in conduit going into the Resonant Energy Cell got avarage 10.000RF/tic. So I downgraded the big turbine into 9 smalls and just connected one turbine and see it produces 3995 RF/tic. One 3*3 - the fission reactor block and the thermometer block gives me 7 small working turbines from one fission reactor producing 3995*7=27.965RF/tic. That are insanly much power from one reactor. When the 2 controll rods comes upp I loose 2 more turbines but still its alot of power.
  8. Say what? My powerplant produce 19.200RF/tic and I'm still in huge need of endereyes. I must realy have missed something here or you my friend doesn't go for big builds in Tekkit. In the last version of Tekkit I hade over 100k of every ore in the game but still I ended upp running the autospawner everynow and then cause I needed something from mobdrop.
  9. Or do it the old way and create and endless essence autospawner spawner and the spawn what ever you need in a second autospawner.
  10. If you wanna farm ender pearl just build an endless essence autospawner and spawn what ever you need from mobs. But for the world thred I must try this when I get some time over.
  11. Does the rift consume all kinds of block or just minecraft blocks. If you build machines around it. Will it consome those too and spread or is there blocks that will hinder that so you can controll the spread of it?

  15. At the end of last version of Tekkit I started to learn alitle to code lua. The game gets a hell more intressting mixing in CC since I like to build my solutions instead of using modpacks premade ones.

  17. I like to make automated system with gates. And since I like to build big I spread out my builds so it doesnt get too client heavy and teleport item between them. I use pipewire to make the gates talk to eachother. Since I can make a pipewire to be activeted with a redstone signal I can remote controll the gates.

  19. Anyone know a way to teleport redstone signal? The old one I used with gates and tesseract doesn't work anymore. I might be able to build a similar but uggly one where I check for fluid but I would like a better solution and more direct working one.
  20. Still haven't got an answer on why phased pipe have been removed. Tesseract doesn't work wiht any bc pipes so why remove the phased ones? Are they bugging or what is the problem? You are still using BC mod in Tekkit so why cripple it? I'm not intressted to know what everyone else think about tesseract. I like them but the BC support have been removed so phased are are still a musthave for us BC users. Don't care what all think of itemduc and so on, they work but still they can't compete with BC pipes when it comes to build your own solutions instead of using premade ones. Without the possibility to be able to teleport power, item and liquid we are pretty crippled and must build very uggly workarounds to be able to use tesseract and BC and still not be able to telepoert power. I realy would like an answer and if there isnt a good answer why not just reinstate them again and let us player decide if we go for TE or BC solutions.
  21. Thanks alot for that informaton. I realy like tesseract but in the last version of tekkit I didnt need to use as much phased pipes to teleport power then if I had to use tesseracts and I can't put facades on a tesseract as I can put on phased. How it is in this verson I realy haven'y seen any numbers on the tesseract if they are the same or if they can teleport more. I realy can't see why they should decide for us what we should use. Let us player decide if we wanna use phased or tesseract as long as they work and don't crash the server/client.
  22. For ppl like me who loves to use gates and to build my own solutions itemducs isn't an option yet. Have started to play around with itemducs and they work but I can build much better pipe system with BC pipe and gates and with the new BC routing system I'm pretty confident I can build a system that controlls down to singel blocks what happens in my pipe system.
  23. Would like to know why phased pipes isnt in the pack anymore. TE are still way behind BC's pipes. Does anyone know a good way to move power from TE to BC since it seems I'm forced to use tesseract to teleport power now.
  24. Have put an iron upgrade into it now and seems to be working as normal now. Not cutting trees far away.
