  1. You should be able to control the the constant pulse with programmable rednet controller. Set the gate to trigger on a redstone signal and program the rednet controller to fire a redstonesignal with a lenght so only one object will be pulled. Never used rednet controller but saw a tutorial video this day and saw that you can contol stuff in it down to a singel tic so Im guessing its possible. Use an "and" gate and add that it also should pump when it recives a redstone signal.
  2. No but you can controll them with gates. Set a gate next to a Redstone Energy Cell and a gate on each magmatic engine. Connect all gates with red pipewire. Config the gate at the REC to send a red pipewire signal when it is full and config the gates att all engines to send a redstone signal when it receives a red pipewire signal. Now the engines will only work when the REC needs to be loaded with energy.
  3. We have the same problem with sealers that they will crash the server. We almost lost the moon because if it. Tryed to find what caused the crash but know it had to do with sealers since when we changed the config so glas wasnt counted as airtight anymore the sealers didnt try to seal the rooms and we could enter the server again without instantly crashing the game. So dont use sealers and if you wanna use them use glas so you can save the server if you encounter the same bugg as we did.
  4. hopper connected to the steamengine and have the pipe connected to the hopper, control it with gates. Set the gate to send a red pipewire signal when it detects the hopper is empty. At the storage chest ad a autarchic gate that pulls when it gets the red pipewire signal. Bulletproof and cheap.

Put a hopper on the machine and BC pipe from hopper to the storage chest. put gate on the pipe closesed to hopper and a autaric gate (autaric gate has a build in pump) on the pipe closesed to the chest. Config the gate at the hopper to send a red pipewire signal when the hopper is empty, the empty chest symbol in gate gui. Put red pipewire on the pipes between the gates and config the autarchic gate to start pump when getting a red pipwire signal.
  6. Yeah it seems 8-9 generators for each reactor. With my old setup I had 12 reactors and could run 108 generators (108/12=9). But with my larger with 20 reactors I cant run 180 generators. Had to go down to 160 (160/20=8) before my tanks started to fill up again. Dont know why and all my reactors "buffert" tank are completly empty. If you have problem getting power out of generators maybe you have the same problem I have. I have to build a loop before BC pipes can extract power out from them or form anykind of power generationg machine. Dont know why and it seems most ppl dont have to do it. But I must do it on singel or on the server I play on and all the other player there must do so aswell. http://imgur.com/a/2k1I8
  7. If you wanna have full acces to the entire tekkit mod then go for conductive. Conduit and liquiducts are not compatible with gates and facade but if you are not gonna use those it realy doesnt matter what you choose. Me my self prefer conductive since I love the challenge buildong solutions with gates instead of using mod solutions like ME and can hide them with facades when needed.

  9. Birch has a bad sapling ratio so even when you place them like a chessboard they still produces less saplings then other trees.
  10. This is an easy autospawner setup that pruduces more essence than it uses. http://imgur.com/a/N2g7V In the slime pit yo have a big slime and set it to spawn an exact copy of it. One big dies into 2-4 medium that dies into 2-4 small ones so you get 7-21 kills for spawning one big slime. Every kill gives essence. In the other pit you spawn what ever you wanna spawn and in this case skeletons for bones. :)

  12. Dont use wheat, it has very poor seed ratio. Havent crunched the numbers but what is working good are for me are Oak sapling, Spruce sapling, Rubber sapling, Birch sapling, Potato, Carrot, Pumpkin seed, Melon seed and Cocoa beans. Of these nine Cocoa beans are best and Birch is worse. For now Birch can hang on but Im gonna try and replace it in the future if I find a better one when looking.
  13. Nope, I cant get rs signal on the left and right side of the turtle. Can it be a config problem i computer craft's config?
  14. Go for biofuel system and it will absolete the need of battery since biofuel generator only burn fuel when needed. If you need somekind of buffert use tanks to store more biofuel. Make 3-4 different sapling farms that are 7*7 with harvester and planter and one potato and one carrot that are hooked up to fertelizer and you will have alot of biofuel.
  15. I like the config better on tesserect but still i cant see the point of using multiple tesseracts when I can solve the problem with one pipe. I hear your argument are not based on performace but based on you have choosed one system over another and build solutions or change the config to compensate the downside instead of using the tools you have to solve it. And another thing why BC pipes > TE are gates. You cant put gates on redstone or liquiduct's or pipewire. I have put up alot of good arguments but barley have seen anyone make a good case why TE are better then just that ppl like them. You can do more with BC pipes and you can make smarter solutions with BC pipes but TE's have theire use too.
  16. I am at the moment pumping 800MJ throu my phased conductive pipe powering the entire server throu one frequenzey. Now ppl just have to set public 10 and they will get power instead of knowing a bunch of different frequenzy's. If I am to use tesserect using a storage unit it will bottleneck at 100Mj and have much more powerloss throu the tesserect. And with with BC pipe I can build in the conductive pipe in the wall and hide it with facade. So now we just place the machine that needs power againt the walls and they will get power. In everyway BC pipes > liquiducts and redstone conduit except when it comes to transport sewege from sewer to composter. With liquiducts I can run around 2-3 more composters at full speed then I can with BC pipes when using 16 sewers. This is not a BC vs TE. I use what gives me most bang from and now BC is better in most ways when I comes to bigger systems but when in configs I get more of TE ofc I use them.
  17. Problem with redstone are that they arent compatible with phased conductive pipe. Phased > Tesserect
  18. This was in 1.0.6 but havent put up an auto-spawner system in 1.1.8 so I dont know if still works. Best way of producting Essence are when you have two set of auto-spawner. In the first you produce exact copy of a large Slime. When you kill a large slime they will split up to max 3 medium and when you kill a medium they will split up to max 3 small ones. That gives you up to 13 kills for the grinder from one singel mob. If you know how to handle gates you can easily make it fully automated to fill a tank with essence that you will use to both auto-spawner. The other auto-spawner you spawn what ever you wanna spawn in. :)

  20. Dont use Steve's Cart's anchor. In some spots the chunks get stuck in a loading state even thou the cart with the anchor have passed and they shouldn't be loading anymore. I have tryed to digg into this but best guess seems to be when a player and the cart share the same chunk it can trigger this and some adjusted areas get stuck too in a loading state. Its easy to fix thou, just restart the server and those chunks arent in a constant loading state.
  21. Im realy new to promgramming so it can be me. When I ran the "redstone.getInput()" in lua it gave back true but it didnt execute the command I had programmed when running the program. (have rewritten the code so its gone) When I just changed the code from "left" to "front" or "back" it executed the command but never when I had "left" or "right".
  22. I cant get the turtle to detect redstone signal from the sides. I can detect front, back, bottom and I asume from top but havent tryed that. But when I try the sides I cant get it to work. Been reading alot and redstone.getInput() should also work on "right" and "left" and when I try it in lua mode it returns false on the sides so the command seems to work. Are the turtle working as intended or are it bugging on the sides?
  23. BC pipes > redstone energy conduite. As for now I have 44 biofuel generator throu one phased conduite pipe that powers the entire server with power. Energy tesserect seems to cap at 100MJ. So whereever we need power we put up a phased conduite pipe and only have to use one frequency. Go for a biofuel power system and you will absolete the need of batteries since biofuel generators only burn fuel when needed.

  25. Nope but I get another problem. My Powerfist tools icons doesnt show above the fist. Instead I get a blank icon on all my tools so I dont know what tool Im using atm.
