The great thing about Direwolf is that he makes straightforward and useful tutorials. Go to the minecraft forum page for season 4, follow all the links and download all the mods, and watch his installation tutorial. I'm hardly experienced, and I was able to get it done in under an hour, with downloading all the mods taking the majority of time.

Well, a max EE themed pack I suppose. Swiftwolf ring, Max, fully charged klein star. Red matter tools. Mercurial eye, with another charged klein star. And maybe an alchemist bag filled with other alchemist bags for practically unlimited storage. And a philosopher stone of course. Is that the kind of suggestion you're looking for?

Nearly every mod has a wiki. There was a thread around here that listed and linked all of them, but a google search will lead you to each one just fine. Or just check each mods minecraft forum page, because the wiki's will likely be linked there.

Yeah I do my best to repress and forget Snooki's existence. Having her randomly around here is almost more of a punishment to the competent members.

But many people buy Minecraft using PayPal. Wouldn't that show that PayPal is pretty safe as well? Also there was another suggestion, using a Visa prepaid card. And that's actually recommended for teenagers.

Holy crap, rock bottom indeed. I actually played Evony once, but I quit because the only way to progress is to fork over a bunch of cash. It's pretty obvious the developers only want to make money.

It's a snapshot. We have no idea if Mojang is going to change things for multiplayer. And, there is no guarantee any servers (especially large scale) would implement the Enderstorage mod, even if it was updated to be better with multiplayer than the ender chest in vanilla. Now, disliking Mojang is perfectly fine, but blindly bashing anything they do is just as useless and unproductive as blindly praising anything they do.

I think this is great, especially the search function. I suppose I'm impatient but having to dig through a giant list of items and blocks, using a scroll bar, was really irritating about creative.

Vanilla gameplay is the standard/normal/original way of playing minecraft. I did not mean that in terms of quality. The technic pack greatly changes Minecraft gameplay, as of course is the purpose of many mods. There is vanilla minecraft, and it has different gameplay compared to industrialcraft^2 of Thaumcraft2, etc. Now it's hard to describe a 'type' of gameplay in a sandbox, but I hope you understand what I'm getting at. Any addition to Vanilla changes the standard gameplay for everyone regardless of what mods they use. And if that is a positive, an appropriate change to standard Minecraft gameplay or tactics, then I am 100% behind it.

I of course want Mojang to do major optimizing and bug fixing as well, but I still think adding new features is great. With Enderstorage, only people that like it, or are even aware of it would have it, even when the API is released. Adding things to vanilla that improve the game are good because they improve the basic Minecraft gameplay so many people use. Sets the standard.

I don't think they ripped off Chicken bones, but merely implemented something that has been suggested by various people. They did say it was a suggestion on Reddit from seven months ago. And I agree with you on the API, but at the same time I don't think the enderchest will have any great effect on when the API is released. I'm not saying Mojang is better than it's modding community, nor am I even saying they are efficient. But I really don't think complaining about new features being added into the game, regardless of whether they are already mods or not, is warranted. Even when the API is released, there are such a huge and varying amount of mods that it will still be worthwhile for Mojang to add things into the game they think will make it better, and still have a standard way of playing Minecraft.

They're working on the API which they plan to release with the next update. Which is 1.3. I'm actually happy to see enderchests in vanilla, although I really wish they had a color coding system as well. Because they don't, I don't see a reason to not include the Enderstorage in future technics/etc. Win win imo.

The game was primarily made by 4j studios, and $15-$20 was the expected price. And while it is of course unmoddable because of Microsofts strict marketplace rules, it is by no means laggy. I purchased it simply so I could play minecraft on the sofa with family or friends, and it does run very well. I think what he meant by slow was the control sensitivity which I did have to turn way up. All in all it's vanilla minecraft. I don't think anyone expected it to be on par with the pc version, nor was it trying to be. It's primary advantage is in fact split screen and coop.

He might not be slinging mud, but through his ignorance, and blaming 'technic code', he certainly isn't giving Technic good publicity. With that said, anyone with even a small amount of experience with technic, or even just experience with adding mods, will be able to see right through it.
