You can back up your saved world by copying the save file from %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks -> [modpack you're playing] -> saves Copy that and paste it on desktop or wherever, then reset your modpack. Either by clicking the cog-wheel button below the modpack icon on the launcher window or delete the modpack folder

See that word "Technic Platform" up top? Click it You will then be directed to the homepage. Click the tab "Modpacks" and "Browse Modpacks". Find yourself a modpack you wish to play, copy the URL of that modpack on the field that says Platform URL and paste it to the launcher. The rest should be self-explanatory

Issues with the Technic packs belong in the Tracker. You probably forgot to fill the java version and Operating system, that's why it gives the error. Try again.

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError The error stands right at the beginning. Outofmemory means the modpack needs more working memory (RAM) for the game. Operating System: Windows 8.1 (x86) Seems that you are running a 32-bit OS. Not much you can do since you can't allocate any more RAM than 1 gig. Attack of the B-team needs 2-3 gig

You need MCEdit, it will access your world without touching the launcher. From that you can change your player location or delete chunks that gone bad. This belongs in the Tracker, so I'm locking this
