Try the Oracle site -
That log is useless. Do me a favour and pick one pack from the Platform and try downloading it. After that fails, post the log.

There are very few people who actually helps others. Please tell me if any of the solutions solves your problem
-
PhantomOdex, this is not your thread. Unless you are living with moreblocks I would suggest you make your own bug thread. Moreblocks: Your java is outdated. Uninstall that one and download java 7 upgrade 51
-
Try to log in through Mojang's own launcher, that's the only way to know whether you are using the correct username/password
-
You could just look where the youtube is, the list of mods is stated there.
-
Posting triple bug threads is not advised. Either respond here or don't ask for help when help is given... A common error Get your command window up and paste this line there setx _JAVA_OPTIONS -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Hi Frostdu10, I found the solution with the timed out. This method however is mostly for windows so I don't know how Mac differs. Get your command window up and copy this line setx _JAVA_OPTIONS -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true If your mac doesn't have a command window, well then we have to do this more complicated: Click start Right click on Compter and choose properties In the left column, click Advanced system settings Choose the Advanced tab Click the Environment Variables button Under System variables, click New Set Variable name to _JAVA_OPTIONS Set Variable value to -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true Close all windows you've opened Thank JBird1 for this solution. This solution is also on Windows, so your buttons and configurations might differ...

This thread was posten in May. That's 8 months ago. The launcher has the PermGen size on as default If you have any problems with your launcher or modpack, please make a bug report and let these old ones rest -
google or ask a friend. I can't see your computer so you have to find that out Control Panel -> Uninstall Programs -> will produce a list of all programs installed, including java, its version and bits
-
Post launcher build, we need to know the numbers it's showing Error log is always created. Try adding a modpack from Platform, after the download fails go to the Cog-Wheel button on your top right corner of the launcher window and you'll see the "Log"- button Post the log inside quote tags or on pastebin.com
-
And java? what bits is java?
-
Mojang has moved their authentication servers, from what I've heard, so kaspersky may not be cool about this. Try disabling or uninstalling it
-
Quote tags doesn't work that way in this forum, besides you have buttons to choose from when you create a post. As for the memory issue; what bits is your OS and java?
-
Google or ask a friend If the error persists make your own bug thread
-
All modpacks show as offline and i cant add any new modpacks

Tonight we play, right or wrong Tonight we'll sail, on the plug.dj site Rescue me, should I download more? If I stay too long, on troubled site ooohhh... yeaahh.. You wreck me, Technic. Yeah you break me in two aahh but you move me modders Yes you do
-
I keep seeing reports of these meaning spectral endermen is doing something. Get MCEdit and move your character further away from that battletower. Like 100 blocks away If that doesn't stop the crash then try to find that enderman and delete him
-
Your java is outdated. Uninstall it and download the latest java 7 upgrade 51. What bits is your OS? Do you have any antivirus installed?
-
And you posted this in Platform Pagoda, the section for questions regarding custom modpacks. Please post in Technic Launcher Bug Board
-
Could you please stop spamming this thread with huge walls of texts? Put it inside quote tags or on pastebin for ease of reading. Try deleting Big Dig from %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks -> Remember to backup any saves before deleting!
-
Well I'm glad you fixed your problem, but I'd be happier if you could tell how you fixed it. And custom modpack support doesn't belong here, go bug the modpack creator
