A log is created the second you log in to the launcher, it has nothing to do if you receive an error or crash, a log will always be created Post the log between quote tags or use pastebin.com if it's too long.

Your java is outdated. Uninstall it and download the latest which is java 7 upgrade 51 We need error log to see what happened.

Nobody wants to give tech support on custom modpacks. There are just too damn many of them. Go ask the modpack creator for help This section is for help regarding loading of technic's official modpacks -hexxit, tekkit, tekkit lite, tekkit classic.

It was removed because the mod was dead and the Alblaka moved on with real life. The mod is "kinda" updated, sure. By his lord Gregorious T. Greg has a problem with Tekkit, so I would hazard a guess that Technic team isn't gonna add the mod in any near future... And TE and BC are far superior than IC2 ever was.

So this is the new error from your other thread, funny thing here; I got the same error. I succeeded in installing Fossils mod and after a few days I decided to install Mo'Creatures. I got to the point directly after Mojang window and everything went white, nothing happened. So I would guess that this might be a connection problem between the launcher and the server from technic. Your guess to solve this is as good as mine... I found my problem, I forgot to install GUI API for the Mo'Creatures. Still no clue why yours wont work

Error log?

If every user posted a second or triple thread for every tiny difference in errors we would have the sections cluttered with hundreds of threads made by a few 10s of users. Please keep your problem posted here until you get your launcher working. And I would like to know how you fixed your original issue. Are you still in offline mode or not?

Delete your hexxit modpack in %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks -> Remember to backup any saves before deleting!

Install the Mavericks update for your Mac OS X. Please read the section titles and descriptions, your post is more in line with Bug section than Platform Pagoda.

I take that as a no. I have never seen this error before, and to top it off you are using Mac, an operating system I'm unfamiliar with. May I ask from where did you download the java?

Did you download the JRE or JDK of java? JDK is what modders use, it's java development kit. I'm seeing lots of exception and errors finding 64 libraries For clarification: the "normal" one you usually download is JRE, java runtime environment. But did you take further effort to download another set of java?

Error log?

So all of Technic's official modpacks - tekkit, tekkit lite, hexxit, tekkit classic - are showing up as vanilla? There's no mods installed when you get to the Minecraft main menu?

You haven't by any chance tried modding?

Damn. This is beyond my help, nothing I can do to fix that. The launcher tried to connect over and over until it quits, that's what "timed out" means. It gets no connection to the server... My only advice is to try a less busy day, since this is the weekend there are thousands of people downloading packs from Technic... Keep trying "run as admin" from time to time

You didn't do all I asked Try to download a pack from Platform, after that fails post the error log - which can be found on the top right corner Cog-wheel button on the launcher window. Post the error log in quote tags or paste it on pastebin.com for ease of reading.

uhh... okay so is this "bug" on Tekkit? If so, why do you post this on Platform Pagoda, the section for questions regarding custom modpacks? Are you using the latest Tekkit version? In such case, you'd better reply Here, but I would recommend you don't, seeing as how low effort you made your post to start with.
