What bits is your OS? What java version do you have? Error log?

This is not an " jump in whoever you are!" - thread. This is Fre3zx's bug thread. If you have a bug then go create your own thread This is not a version, that's just a word. We need numbers. Version and upgrade numbers please. What antivirus do you have installed?

Paying antivirus is silly when you can have one for free. MSE and Avast are freely downloadable AV's. There is no "newest" upgrade. Please post a number. There is another way to fix this, if disabling the antivirus doesn't solve it... Try downloading one pack from the Platform, after that fails post the error log. This will tell me why it blocks the launcher

I hope you mean minEcraft and not minDcraft. Mindcraft is a modpack made in FTB. What antivirus do you have installed?

What upgrade? Mojang has migrated their authentication server, Kaspersky doesn't know this connection Technic is making and blocks this, Disabling your AV should fix it. Otherwise uninstall Kaspersky

This is the cause to the error. Do me a favour and go to the config folder, right-click on NEI's cfg fil and choose "properties" and tell me which boxes are checked and which arent. There should be more cfg.files in that config folder, take a look at a few others and see if you see any difference. If this doesn't make any sense to you then just take a screenshot of that NEI.cfg file after you right-clicked it and chose "properties".

The reasons vary, I personally haven't seen that AV being a problem to the launcher. Please make your own bug report so we can tell

Get your command window up and copy this line setx _JAVA_OPTIONS -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true If your mac doesn't have a command prompter, well then we have to do this more complicated: Click start Right click on Computer and choose properties In the left column, click Advanced system settings Choose the Advanced tab Click the Environment Variables button Under System variables, click New Set Variable name to _JAVA_OPTIONS Set Variable value to -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true Close all windows you've opened Your mac may differ from windows concerning the name of buttons and tabs. I understand their concern for constant spam " mod X broke Dino!". Oh well, Flam's is still quite good, even with the current mobs in. edit.I added their mod in Hexxit some days ago... I wonder if I'm gonna break something sometime...

Does the 1.6.4 F&A have all updated content + mobs that the F&A revival team has? From my understanding the 1.6.4 version was only an updated version directly from Flammarilva's version.
