My god... what are you arguing about, OP? Your kids picked a poor server. Switch to another one. Here is one I found quite nice : Protech. Your going crazy and point fingers at... Technic staff?? people who created a modpack? Not the server' people your kids got griefed. You are being misinformed and unecessary hostile. Why can't we simply enjoy the game...? Shit will always happen, but they are not Cheap and Kaker's responsibility. Many players goes day in and out from servers being horrible to good or awful to "ok"-ish. Many people report these "awful" and "horrible" servers. There will always be another dick admin server with dick people controlling it. Nothing we can do about it than report and move on. I hope you will find another server that your kids might enjoy.

Now that's more like it! That's how you should advertise! From now on, That is how you always advertise a modpack! Now that we got that underway, I can start giving you criticism... At first point: Hardcore mode + Rei's minimap? If you ask me, Rei's minimap mod makes the game very easy. It's easy to navigate and finding your base when spelunking underground or finding your way back at the surface 'cuz you can make those pinpoints that will point you to your base. Secondly, you mentioned many new mods I've never heard of, specifically weapons mods. So many weapons.... but no tougher enemy mobs to fight against? Just my thoughts... take it or leave it. Edit. Scratch that. just looked at Infernal Mobs mod. Seems they made some rare tough mobs spawn. Sounds a bit unintuitive. But perhaps there are others who find tough zombies fun.

A little tip: Advertise! What is the modpack about? Why is yours so special? Advertise!

Not sure if you are still continuing your project, but I have been working on my own little castle.... kind of.. It's not much yet... I'm running out of resources and ideas on how to continue it. This is something I made on Creative... figuring out how I want it to look like. I like the staircase. Tossing ideas in my head how I want the IC machines. This looks like shite. I'm not overly fond of this tower... needs more work. Any constructive criticism is welcomed. Going over pages of Google castle images to get inspiration myself... My imgur album.

I can't help you, I'm not a wiz on computers. But I can tell you that this thread is misplaced, Cafe Lame would fit better. Also, don't sign your posts. Rules I hope me bumping this will attract some people to help you.
