1.3 million runs and 480k installs. That's the statistics on Legends I got from CanVox. That's more than Tekkit main and Classic combined. So your "I know a lot of people" doesn't really add up here

No, don't jump in on someone elses bug report. Report issues with custom packs to the modpack creator, Technic team did not make ultra modded survival.

you mean 2GB, not MB. how much RAM do you even have on your PC? Find your "My Computer" icon, click it. Right-click the pop-up window and choose properties. There it should show all of your computers settings, like Processor, OS, OS-bit and so on

no it is not. MC 1.8 has world gen that wasn't present in 1.2.5 or 1.6x If you spawned near a biome, like a Mesa for instance, and then move your world to a Tekkit Classic or regular Tekkit then you will surely crash, because the older versions of MC will not recognise those biomes -

1. a log from java has never helped anyone on modded minecraft. 2. NEVER spill a log directly on your post. post your technic log logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link.
