Could someone please make a modpack please
AetherPirate replied to TheCodester's topic in Platform Pagoda
Never rename mods, you'll have no idea what version they are later. I noticed you wanted flans, but you didn't pick any content packs. Go have a look at their site and make some selections. -

Did you rename every mod? -

To a Dropbox zip of your most recent attempt. Might be easier to fix than re-create. -

Well, what sort of pack are you looking for? If I have time I'll help. -
It looks like most of your mods are not from safe sources. Get them from the authors site, curseforge, minecraftforum, or github. That is step one. * also a lot of those zipped mods you have in there have install instructions you have not followed, assuming they are from legit sources to begin with... And your zip is in there twice.

pastebin a crashlog Your NEI and ChickenChunks are quite old. Are you getting from http://chickenbones.net/Pages/links.html btw it launches for me.
-
open the zip and read the readme put the jars inside that into mods
-
get it from http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/ The one you have is for 1.6.4 and was not from the authors site
-
fix battetowers and get legit buildcraft next, and upload again.
-
Did you increment your modpack version number in the tekkit modpack panel?
-
Still checking, prob other things too. Dont think you got buildcraft from a legit source get it from http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/ The one you have is for 1.6.4
-
hang on, I will have a look I was wrong, the issue was you didn't follow instructions for the battetowers mod, and you did not rename the forge universal to modpack.jar
-
It should already be there, I think inside the mods folder.
-
Put it in mods\1.7.10

Give it a try yourself. 1) Install Plowman's Barebones pack for the version of Minecraft you want. Probably 1.7.10 is best. 2) Run it once. It will create the folder structure you need in your technic folder. On a PC your modpacks are in C:\Users\*yourusername*\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks 3) Grab a few of the mods you'd like to have in your pack from safe sources (author's website, github, curseforge, Mineraforum. Avoid anywhere else. 4) Drop them the /mods folder. Consider adding them one at a time. Read author instructions carefully. Often you need more than one .jar file. 5) Run it again. If it works, add more mods and repeat. If it crashes, pastebin the crashlog here and you'll get help. Once you have all your mods, go into /configs and make any changes you'd like. Start with that. -
Check the dropbox link you have pasted into your Tekkit modpack panel, maybe re-paste it. And change that dl=0 to dl=1

Problem when Launching Attack if the b team
AetherPirate replied to CorvetteLegend's topic in Attack of the B-Team
You probably have the Windows 10 issue. Get Java 8v25u x64 and try that. If no go, pastebin a crashlog. -
I have the latest Thermos running with all the mods from my current pack. I can create a new world and it is great. I copied my current world into thermos and it launches, but many of the trees have been replaced with Obsidian Snake Totem trees, which are terrifyingly awesome, but unwanted. Many ID's seem to have changed, there are many odd things like that on the map. This is the pack I am working with: http://api.technipack.net/modpack/the-way-too-much-tech-pack https://www.dropbox.com/s/f9xlu99vi4qf87l/modpack.zip?dl=1 * Ok I have more data: 1) Using my pack, I created new world using Forge. I saved it. 2) I moved it to the Thermos server, and launched it. All is well, no mixed up block ID's 3) I moved my current world to the Thermos server and launched it. Block ID's scrambled, Craziness ensues. I'd really like to use Thermos for my current world. Any tips?
