  1. Thanks, saintnicster. IC2 seems to have some sort of exception with FML, at ModLoader.AddArmor(). The Thaum one scrolled by so quickly I didn't spot it. EDIT: Neowulf, all I'm trying to figure out is if this is a problem on my end or if it's actual mod incompatibilities. Sorry if I have offended you or whatever...
  2. Are you running the downloaded jar directly? To run the snapshot, you must place the jar file you downloaded in %appdata%/.minecraft/bin. Then, run Minecraft as usual. You won't need the server anymore, the newest snapshots have an integrated server. :)
  3. I wasn't really looking for action, just recommendation. I just thought you guys might have some insight into how these things work, maybe a recommendation. I switched to a lower version of Forge, but I was really looking forward to the integrated 4096 fix. Oh well...
  4. As in the title. I've been trying to scrape my personal modpack out of the ruins, and used the latest Forge build, # 155 or some such. And apparently, not only is Steve's Carts incompatible (which I can deal with, i mean, I don't need turret carts) but so are ThaumCraft and IC2. I really love ThaumCraft, and IC2 is just boss. So does anyone have a suggestion?

    umm..

Strange. Quite strange. I have never seen this. Does it produce any error messages in the console? (those may or may not be logged. if not, launch technic from the command line to see them.)

    umm..

Are you in a mushroom biome? Those tend to lag.

    Music

Approaching Nirvana, Ason ID, Deadmau5, and occasionally others ( have you ever spent an hour just browsing Newgrounds Audio Portal? So much awesomeness!)
  8. RP2 is not binary, it's FORTH. It also happens to have verious other things available to it, such as good ol' BASIC. The same thing you likely programmed your grpahing calculator with? Beautiful stuff. And FORTH is pretty awesome once you get used to Reverse Polish Notation.
  9. Um, pretty much anything with "accept these offers to download all teh things!" is a scam.
  10. Anytime man. Anytime. (sorry if you're not a man. :/)
  11. %appdata%/.techniclauncher/tekkit/saves on windows. On Linux, replace %appdata% with ~.
  12. Huh. Well, sorry 'bout that. I guess if you were really desperate, you could generate worlds in singleplayer and copy them over. Bukkit would automatically convert them.
  13. Well, sorry I couldn't really help. I hope you find a new way to work. Maybe make the endless plains your creative world instead of the other way around?
  14. As for what causes the bug, it seems like you've already found out. Multi-world plugins must not work very well with Tekkit. I simply don't use them. After all, one world is practically infinite. Chunkloaders and warps are your friends. :)
  15. If nobody can reproduce your bug, then it's something caused by your setup. A Minecraft without really strange bugs wouldn't be Minecraft at all.
  16. Then delete the folder containing your tekkit server, and start again. It sounds like you don't have a save you want to keep anyway.
  17. Why yes! Yes there is! It's called Tekkit! Have you tried it? It's absolutely fantastic!
  18. Not necessarily. Actions that it lists have been completed. The biome generation happens after the strongholds. Have you deleted .techniclauncher and tried again? I know, drastic, but it happens to work most times.
  19. It's not an error though. This happens almost any time a map is generated. Vanilla, Tekkit, etc, all of these have this. It's *not* an error. The stronghold is merely placed before biomes are determined. :)
  20. the strongholds in invalid biome is typical. That usually happens on map generation. As for the rest, no clue. Sorry.
  21. Um, the only thing I can think of would be glass bottles and water bottles having two different stacking properties. Are the empty bottles stacked? (Also, don't you ust love marble bricks? Very classy!)
  22. Does the colour really matter? :P
  23. Tripping on a ceiling when I was 14. Good times. Good times. :P
  24. BD also removes all the fun of making an 8x8 dungeon-based XP farm.
  25. I'm sure if you really wanted to take some time, you could use (hear me out here. this may be ridiculous, but it could work) Lego's Digital Designer program. As long as you got it set in your head which LEGO bricks correspond to which blocks, you could plan MC builds in LDD. Remember though, Lego bricks aren't quite perfect cubes.
