  1. run the getchangedsrc.bat (getmodsrc.bat? not sure, it's something like that) first, and it will copy any classes added or modified into the "modsrc" directory.
  2. I have indeed, it's slightly OP. This one, you'll have to have crafted it the "hard" way at least once for the table to remember. (also, it'll have a limited number of template slots, so choose your templates well)
  3. Sure! I'll edit the OP to include that. EDIT: Done.
  4. Greetings, fellow denizens of the Internets. I've been modding again, and here are some of the products of my overactive imagination. SGExtensions Prime! This mod is an overhaul of the mod SGCraft by Greg Ewing, adding Stargates, a computercraft peripheral to dial stargates, fixing the debug spam that his mod has, and in future versions, more types of Stargates! (insanely detailed) OpenMDS! This is a new defence mod, based on Thunderdark's MFFS. With Calclavia taking over, and subsequently locking the mod down and closing its source, I decided I could do better. This mod will be less focused on forcefields, and more on other, more fun base defence. There won't be any machines to instantly kill intruders, or steal their items, but there will be fun defences, such as auto-sentries, time dilation, and nerve gas. (also, no more player id! You'll have to use colour codes 'n' stuff!) Applications of Dynamics! This mod, the lowest priority mod I have in the pipes, will add Railcraft-style steam, and my own take on liquid storage.
  5. Honestly, man,the only way to upgrade a laptop is to buy a new one. It's a complicated process, with specialised motherboards per chip, not really worth it. You'll likely end up with an expensive paperweight. My laptop is a beauty, and I got it for $400 US. About the same specs as yours, (slightly faster CPU) and dirt cheap. My advice for you is this: don't get a gaming desktop, as you can't afford one. However, you can afford a middle-of-the-line standard desktop, and then upgrade it to gaming beast specs later, piece by piece, as you get the money.
  6. No, that was when the forums switched to XenForo. I remember SMF, and miss it, in a weird, old-man sort of way.
  7. I go everywhere else Minecraft modding-wise, and the amount of stupid everywhere is astonishing. I'd like to thank you guys for keeping it real, making these forums an enjoyable place, and most of all, for being headstrong and innovating. It's really cool to see stuff like that, not bogged down in the "permissions ALL the things!" attitude like the rest of places. You guys rock. :)
  8. oh, right. umm, why not just leave the system running, no matter if there's stuff in the chest or not? It doesn't use any Blutricity unless it actually sorts an item.
  9. BC Gates will work, there is an "Items in Inventory" conditional.
  10. Bemoan the state of humanity? :P
  11. BTW, Lothos: the custom zip path can be local, using the file:/// url format.
  12. take the minecraft forge zip, rename it modpack.jar, and put it in the bin folder.
  13. Well, no. He means having a file that will be added to modpack.jar, instead of overwriting it. Like a modpack.jar for modpack.jar, if you get my drift. :P
  14. No, I believe it is actually a function of time. Like, I'm fairly sure it checks to see how long it has been since a player was in the chunk. Just wait it out.
  15. Nope, as I've not port forwarded. I know how to do it, on my non-Netgear router, I've just never had to. Sorry.
  16. If you can get on, but your friends at other locations can't, you've not port forwarded properly. Google "how to port forward" and use a text tutorial, not a video one. That should help.
  17. How did you port forward? (And no, this is probably the wrong section) Tell us how you did it so we can tell you what you did wrong. "Everything in the videos" is not helpful. LazDude's LazTip #1: You gotta help us help you.
  18. nope, you really have to wait a few days until the game resets the pigmen. And don't let people mine nether ores. LOL
  19. Mista Panda, the issue is simple: someone aggravated the pigmen. The hostile/non-hostile status of the pigmen is server-wide, not per player. Any time someone aggro's the pigmen, they're aggro'd for the whole server. Just don't let anyone enter the Nether for a couple of days, and your problem will resolve itself.
  20. Copy mods folder files, paste, resolve IDs. Simple.
  21. SemiPr0: indeed. It does get a bit ridiculous. However, this is only with high power draw. The rates were worked out somewhere (can't remember where), and for typical, low-power-usage stuff, it's fine. Most BC stuff is low power. Quarries are really the only one to be concerned about. (and if you have RedPower, why not build a frame quarry instead! )
  22. Ah, ok. Well, just trying to help. :P
