Tekkit does not effect normal minecraft, it has a separate folder, so you can still play normal minecraft while playing tekkit. And yes, you are totally in the wrong place.

I doubt search will help, it's impossible to play with thaumcraft without the vis/taint function and there's no way to disable it, all the blocks and items in thaumcraft are somehow related to them. Though it is possible to disable natural taint spawn in the config, note that taint will still occur if the taint level is high enough.

Try to use the caterpiller design, with upper and lower frame sections. A frame motor will move the upper part of the frame for one block, then the lower part immediately moves by a another frame motor,that gets you a frame airship which can travel infinitely.

Have you tried putting MV transformers though all powe supplies? Give every machine MV.

Which youtube video? and what kind of game you want? A lot of people disabled thaumcraft because the taint function, some people disabled mo'creatures. And that's about it, disable other mods would ruin the experince.

You can use redpower covers to prevent tubes from connecting to the machines, so the tubes can look less "messy".

As a less intellentgent species, we are probalay seen by alien as monkeys and they will send us to thier zoo.
