Well, I got in on the FireHunterX bit, where it started with the AV, which then degenerated (evolved?) into ignorance, arrogance and elitism. We've had several excellent posters who've just had an infraction too many, who were still taken seriously. Assuming they made posts that were to be taken seriously. It's not the avatar. It's the post behind it.

But that's the thing. You weren't called out for using a Mac! It's not my cup of tea, and I'll stick with my PC, but Macs have their uses and are a valid method of computering. You were called out on not using AV. Even if there are only a handful of virii and malware for the Mac, it's always a good idea to be prepared for when there are more. And preventing infection is better than fixing it, no matter how easy it is.

Man, you need to lighten up with the "I'm the victim" attitude. The fact you've not been banned for ban-dodging clearly shows that you've got at least freakachu... not... entirely against you? You weren't picked on because you use a Mac, but because you were being ignorant. There are viruses and malware (predominantly Trojans) out there for Macs. Not many. But they're there and they can fuck your machine up, or cause other security issues. When this was pointed out to you (admittedly, less than courteous for any place other than here), you immediately insulted the person who did, and insulted every PC user ever. This is against the rules. Even for somebody who uses a Mac and is obviously of a superior master race. EDIT: Also "You had it coming"? Lulz.

This looks rather good. Not everything appears to be added yet, like the Modular Powersuits mod, but it's solid. Shame there's no Optifine support though. Connected textures would have been nice. EDIT: Actually, I downloaded the Technic/Tekkit pack. Not the Tekkit Lite pack. My assessment may have been wrong. Will try again later. Game of Thrones is now.

This is an awesome suggestion, but I don't think Mojang could do it justice. Until then, you'll have to suffice with GregTech.

What's worked for me is, close the game. Restart the launcher and go back into your game. Delete. It should work just fine then. You could also simply go into the .technic folder (NOT the .techniclauncher folder, as that's from the OLD launcher. Unless you're using that one, of course.) and delete the world, like Kocken said.

I realize the mod's still full-on work in progress, but I do hope you'll reconsider the name of the mod once it's in a presentable condition. Considering you're going through the effort of adding machines to aid in the brewing, I don't think you should lay the focus on merely the "getting drunk" bit of alcohol. I don't really have an alternative though, other than maybe "Brewing Blocks" or something equally silly.

If I'd seen this post earlier, I would have recorded myself launching the launcher and launching various modpacks from it. Sorry to inform you, but the launcher's been working just fine on my end. And it has been the entire day.

I'm assuming you meant to type "It wouldn't recognize his login." Did he use the right password? Let him try again. Also, I have no idea if Voltz has been update for 1.5 yet. Regardless, it wouldn't matter one thing, since if Voltz isn't updated for 1.5 then the version of Minecraft used to run Voltz won't be 1.5. The launcher simply won't allow it. I'm guessing your brother used the wrong login information.

Run the game. You should get a prompt. Click "Yes". In theory, that system's fool-proof. EDIT: That is, run the vanilla game. Outside of the Technic launcher.
