  1. Do not lie, please. I specifically mentioned version 2.2.0.2 for you. If you went through the link you would have noticed the table there. Go through the link again, and look for 2.2.0.2 and see what version of Minecraft it's for.
  2. First off, put error logs like that into code-tags. [*code]text here[*/code] (without the * of course) It'll make the thread a lot nicer to read through. Now, nullpoint exceptions are not my cup of tea, and I'm not very good at reading anything in these logs BUT ID mismatches. However, if I'm not mistaken, I'm seeing Forestry version 2.1.2? When and where did you download this version? At any rate, go here and download version 2.2.0.2 That one should work, I think. I believe that's the version I've got in my modpack.
  3. When you start the game, does it load completely into the main menu? Or does it stop and give you an error message? Also, when you say that you drag the Forestry folder into the tekkit folder, do you mean that you're putting the .jar into the mods folder, or just into tekkit?
  4. Most likely, you've ran into ID conflicts. Do you know how to look for ID conflicts, and resolve those? It is not hard, and there are some excellent tutorials for that floating around the web. People have added Forestry to packs, and if you have a look around the Platform you can see if there's a pack that strikes your fancy. Alternatively, play Big Dig. It's got Forestry included.
  5. Mods come with installation instructions. Because I'm one of the nicest bastards you'll find around here, I'm going to link it to you. I'm sure you'll be able to work it out from there. Here's the installation instructions. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that Tekkit is currently on 1.5.1, Forge is already included and you don't need to use MultiMC. Even though that says "Easy", installing it manually is easy as well.
  6. Have you not read this thread? Ducks, man!
  7. No no. Apple recently brought out a software patch that includes Bunny deterrents for Macbook Pros. Bunnies should be a thing of the past. I do remember there being a note about Tekkit in the patch notes, though. I think it included the word platypus, but what it exactly entailed, I don't know.
  8. Flan does look okay. That's how it is supposed to be set up. Two questions: - What version of Minecraft is this modpack for? I see coremods for 1.5.2, and regular mods for 1.5.1. You may wish to look into that. - Do you really need "Smart Moving Server", "Smart Moving Standalone" AND "Smart Moving Universal for ModLoader or Minecraft Forge or MCPC+.zip"? I'm not familiar with the Smart Moving mod, but look in the instructions to see which one of those you need.
  9. Simply change it yourself. Just manually delete the www. and type dl. Make sure you keep the https:// bit.
  10. What does the link from your dropbox look like? Does it start with https://www. or https://dl. Because you need the https://dl. variant. Platform won't work with the download otherwise. EDIT: I also noticed you're not actually asking a question. What did you want us to do exactly? I mean, I hope my answer above helps, but if you need help, you should probably ask a question next time.
  11. No. Nobody needs to fix anything. Demanding things is always a bad thing and will not get you anywhere fast. Is somebody willing to help you, despite your audacity, from the goodness of their heart? Yes. See those little cogwheels under the packs? You can choose the version via there. Choose "Manually select a build" and pick the build that used to work for you. I cannot tell you which that would be. The latest, and recommended, build is 0.6.5. Go with 0.6.4 then, I guess. EDIT: Incidentally, you ARE in the wrong place. This should have, at the least, gone here
  12. You're in the wrong subforum, friend. Tekkit doesn't have Equivalent Exchange 2. It's got EE3, and that doesn't have a Ring of Rending Gale or Klein Star.
  13. For fun, ask Sengir how he feels about exploding bees.
  14. Did you really need another thread? Your previous one could have sufficed, right?
  15. It DOES allow that kind of access. You need to log in once, just ONCE, into the launcher with your Minecraft account, and you should be able to play Offline just fine. If it freezes up, something's wrong on your end.
  16. From your list, it appears you forgot PlayerAPI. A requirement by TerraFirmaCraft. Also, I have no idea if Better Than Wolves is compatible. Since all the mods except for BTW Forge, you should be prepared to accept that it won't run together with any of the mods you've listed.
  17. Mainsail under an orange tank, am I right? And I concur. I have little trouble getting into orbit myself. Assuming I don't intentionally cripple myself by putting a NERVA as my circularization- and munar insertion stage...
  18. I had no idea there were new scenarios and tutorials! TO STEAM! EDIT: Aww... I thought you meant there were new tutorials and scenarios added in 0.20. I forgot you only JUST got the game, Lethosos.
  19. You're in the entirely wrong place. This, probably, should have gone into the Platform subforum.
  20. I'm guessing you're going to start playing on the server with friends and people you and your friends know? How about asking them first? Link them to, or show them the lists of mods in the modpacks and see which ones they like more.
  21. Go have a look at Evoland. It's a fun little game!
  22. Yeah, there's lots of people that don't like the newer versions because they hate love and change. Basically, if you hear ten people screaming they hate the new thing and want the old thing back, you can rest assured that there's ten thousand people quietly enjoying the new thing.
  23. No worries, mate. Everybody makes mistakes!
  24. Is it, zephos? Please go ahead and apply this texture pack and get back to me with results. EDIT: It'll work for some stuff, probably (maybe), but show me the new textures for GalactiCraft, please.
  25. The following mods have better descriptions on the page I link to. Mostly for aircraft, but also useful for easier fuel transfer: http://kerbalspaceport.com/tac-fuel-balancer-v1-0/ Save parts of rockets to use on other rockets! http://kerbalspaceport.com/subassembly-saver-loader/ So you can go do other stuff while you wait for your rocket to do stuff! http://kerbalspaceport.com/kerbal-alarm-clock-2/ So you can see how much you fart thrust you're producing, compared to how fat you are the weight of your rocket! http://kerbalspaceport.com/0-18-1-kerbal-engineer-redux-v0-5/ Missiles that go after your target! http://kerbalspaceport.com/lazor-guided-weapons/ LAZERS! (Sharks and headmounting gear sold seperately) http://kerbalspaceport.com/sunbeam/ That's just a short list. The last two are, obviously, mostly for shits and giggles.
