I'm a bit confused about the spiffy new art as well. I have theories though: 1) It's a super secret code that tells us the future 2) GalactiCraft will be updated for the next Recommended version, and it contains new planets 3) You all just thought it'd look spiffy

Is that so? I thought I read that ComputerCraft would not work yet with RedNet cables. Did that change, or was I misinformed? I suppose I shouldn't speak of things that I don't use myself (in this case ComputerCraft), but I thought my information was solid.

While there's no CC compatibility as of yet, MineFactory Reloaded's RedNet replaces the coloured cables. Frames is being worked on by Jakj on this very forum.

It's asking you to select a location outside of the .technic folder. So, just create a new folder wherever you like and name it whatever you like. Then, when it says "select", click that, and pick the location you just made.

I think you can actually colour them. Place the Illuminator down and right click it with some dye.

What about the loss of IC² and RP2 makes it suck? Everything that was replaced by AE, TE and MFR?

There's no 1.3.2 version of this Tekkit. Which version of Tekkit is your friend playing? Tekkit Classic, Tekkit Lite?

You can always play Tekkit Lite if you still want to play with IC². It's still in there. Unfortunately, Tekkit Lite is most likely stuck at 1.4.7. I've seen vague rumours, I think from CanVox himself, that it might update at some point in the future, but when, on what conditions and in what way... I don't know. It might not even be true, and I might be misremembering things. At any rate, Tekkit Lite is the way to go if you want to stick to IC². But I suggest you check out the new Tekkit regardless. Thermal Expansion does a lot of things IC² did, and does it (in my, and many others', opinion) better.

That's a setting you can change on your download page. It's a checkbox, I believe.

It's always nice to report what was wrong, and how you fixed it. It may help other people who've run into the same or similar problem.

Go to the page where you edit the details for your modpack. Take a screenshot of that page and post it here. Also, are you maybe at the download-limit of your dropbox account?

I was out eating fish, and then decided on some icecream too, afterwards. Thanks for showing interest! All I'm getting is a vanilla install. Either something is still wrong with your dropbox download (are you absolutely sure you're using https://dl.blablabla?), or you didn't install the right mods for the version of Minecraft you want. Also, did you specify on the Platform page for which version of Minecraft this modpack is? EDIT: Heh. Ninja'd (well... 4 minutes) by M-C.

Next question: Do you have the pack uploaded on the Platform? How about you share that link as well? I had a look at your modpack, by the way. The coremods folder is completely empty. Is it supposed to be that way?
