Update your server to the same version as your client, or the other way round. Just update both to the same version and it'll work.

I think you should probably note here, Asphestus, that not everybody who enjoys Tekkit hates FTB. There have been quite a few arguments, but the general agreement is that it's not worth fighting over. They use pretty much the same mods, but who cares? That's not exactly going to stop anyone. You have your opinion, everyone else has theirs. Don't expect everyone to hate all other modpacks just because they play Tekkit, you won't get very far.

Erm...so basically you made a huge word wall to say that you prefer Tekkit to another modpack which is really similar, because you prefer how Tekkit looks and like something which probably won't be in the next Tekkit either(Condensers). Uhh... Would it not have been easier to just say it like that? Don't worry, the reason that Tekkit isn't updated yet is because it has more mods. We're just waiting for them to be updated now. Enter mob of FTB fans raging that we have no permissions even though we do. Just leave it people, it's his opinion and his choice to prefer Tekkit. Can we please not turn this into another of those threads of people giving the exact same reasons in every post about FTB vs Technic? Pwease?

Hang on, I'll see if I can dig up the thread. Edit:can't find it, probably because it was months ago. I guess I'll have to explain it. You need to use MFFS(forcefields). A reactor containment field can stop anything blowing through and nuking your stuff. Using 2 Reactor temperature controllers(or whatever they're called) set to cool, with an EE infinite supply of ice, and you can withstand a complete set of uranium cells.

Not a bad video,but unfortunately it's neither the safest nor the most efficient reactor design available with Tekkit. Come back when you have a reactor which won't explode filled completely(6 chambers) with Uranium cells, which if it ever DOES explode, won't blow your stuff up.

It's not whatever's causing your problem, because everyone gets it. Go make a bug report with the full server log(In the bugs forum).

There will always be lag, because every new world is generated at the time you go to it. Don't worry about it, playing the worlds shouldn't cause too much lag. Have fun!

Make sure you're using the r2 build maybe? If not, there's your problem.

Looks like an entity error. Make sure the port is for MC 1.2.5, otherwise it won't work.

Wait...what? Did you add Mystcraft to your server or something? I don't remember Mystcraft being in Tekkit at any point... It's in Technic, but not Tekkit.

I think you haven't allocated enough memory for it to run. Try giving it more?

Press Advanced in the wireless redstone GUI, then just name the frequency. Remember to press save(or whatever the button is). You can then just double click that frequency in any other wireless redstone receiver, and it should instantly switch to that frequency. Basically, there are glitches which people use to get through a forcefield. Chances are your friend used an ended pearl, which teleports you, and basically just teleported through a corner of your forcefield. You need extra forcefields to make this impossible, but they don't have to be perfect. Putting a second forcefield projector next to the first should fix it.

Well for a start, you could ask the Bukkit people rather than the Tekkit people... I'm still confused at why you didn't ask there in the first place. This is the forum for Tekkit, not Bukkit. Why would you post about something on something else's forum for help about it?
