Try putting one in then removing - it might not have noticed it hasn't got an upgrade. Either that or I've missed the update log saying he's boosted the range. It's a loooooooong list which I don't feel like reading at the moment. Whatever happens, this is a benefit rather than a problem, so it's not exactly something to complain about. -

If I were you, I'd put that upgrade in as fast as possible before something goes horribly wrong O.e -
He's talking about the Technic launcher - my friend had this problem. Seems to be a bug where the launcher is trying to download a minecraft.jar that's been removed or something - I had to send him my Cache to get it working.

The range upgrade increases the max range of the core so you can have a single core covering a larger distance - it's not a bug, it's the upgrade. -

Ice can make all this pointless. I usually make an Ice machine with EE, then just pump it in with Redpower filters every second. I fill up the reactor with everything but the bottom row with Uranium, and just keep pumping Ice. No more confusing components, no more meltdowns. Not too expensive either, by EE standards. -

I like CC, but as these guys have said, there's not much in the way of functionality when it comes to reactors. You COULD have it linked up to a tonne of remote readers to get a close reading, then set it up on a monitor. It'd look good, but not be much use. When it comes to securing you reactors, nuclear control is the best. Probably because that's all it does. -

Electric fence using tonnes of IC2 power running through un-insulated HV cable in an MFSU power loop. Like a baws. -
transmutation tablets display the items they've learned according to the closest to the amount of EMC you have. Put more EMC in your tablet and it might work.

Try MC port central - I'm sure I saw a helicopters mod on there which might be close enough.

I looked at that mod, but unfortunately it started at 1.3, so it's incompatible Luckily, it provided a link to another, Tekkit compatible mod: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4916 It's not as full of features as the one you suggested, but it'll work on a server etc., so it's good for Tekkit :D

Switch to the .jar version. A friend of mine had this problem, his Tekkit kept crashing, and then wouldn't let him back on(He had to reboot his computer every time)

Picaxes disappear after using some time

Not sure if this is the problem, but sometimes thing in my inventory disappear too. I usually disconnect and reconnect and they re-appear. You might also have not noticed that tools have damage limits(hey, it could happen) -

laggy connection maybe? Try getting someone to TP you to them when you log in and see if that works.. If not, try and reduce the graphics settings from the options menu - Tekkit gives you tonnes of stuff to do that with :D

I recently noticed that Mo' Creatures has been ported to bukkit. It's in Technic SSP already, so are we gonna have it on Tekkit too?

Re: Help setting up a server, all guides are inadequete help! There's two problems this might be(Haven't worked this out from the text - don't worry, I have fixes for both) If it's the Technic Launcher that's giving you trouble, you want to download the .jar or the .exe(Whichever one you're not using) If it's the server, you need to add Java to the path. If you don't know how to, google it :)

Tested this and found it fixed my combine too. Then, something like 64 wheat came out at once. At least it didn't dissapear :)
