  1. (He's probably too busy wondering why his Technic wont connection to his Tekkit server, so lets get out while we can :3)
  2. I honestly don't see what you're having trouble with here. You download the Tekkit server, download Tekkit, and play. What's so complicated about the fact that you need Tekkit to play a Tekkit server?
  3. You need to join your Tekkit server with a Tekkit client. Nothing else will work.
  4. Saying it or that makes a lot more sense. You just need to download it from the technic website, unzip it and press launch. Since you can use a Bukkit one I'm assuming you know how to port forward etc. so that should be fine. No further steps needed, just download and launch.
  5. What do you mean a bukkit Tekkit server? In fact, what do you mean by open?
  6. They get no water because you're using RedPower tubes, which transport stuff to the nearest available space. You would need build craft distribution pipes to set this up properly and have all the water mills provided with water, or a faster source of water input.
  7. You need to attach a world anchor cart, and just trap it somewhere on your bore.
  8. What's so hard about it? You download the server twice and run them at the same time. You may need to change the port, but that's it.
  9. I'm pretty sure most plugins work as long as they're for 1.2.5
  10. It needs a plugin. Go search MOTD plugins on the CraftBukkit forums.
  11. I once had the same problem - we called it a slenderworm because it only crashes you if you can see it. I'm not certain, but I think it might have something to do with the wireless redstone.
  12. Post this in the Tekkit Bugs forum, people there know what this means.
  13. It's already in the Technic suggestion thread, so there's not much else you can do. Don't worry about it, they know it works and if they think it fits, they'll add it in. If not, there's a post somewhere telling you how to add it in yourself.
  14. As far as I know, Aether is Single Player only. It works with Technic though, so it might be added to Technic.
  15. Are you trying to connect to normal servers or Tekkit servers, because normal servers will work.
  16. Try reinstalling the Tekkit server, and see if that does anything.
  17. Have you added in any mods yourself? Also, have you tried connecting to your server like this?
  18. That's not an error, that's your server telling you it's loading the mods. Don't worry about it. If you hit any real errors, they'll say [Error], and generally be the last thing your server says rather than the first.
  19. Omg, yes! I always wanted a server whose host who was clever enough to put his server in the main Tekkit part of the forums because his original server post in the correct place was rejected! It even has a church in the picture with beacons in case any low-flying creepers get too close! Awesome.
  20. Delete the world file, your map seed is the problem if you just get sea.
  21. There's a thread for this stuff already, read the fixed threads at the top. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/small-scale-recruitment-thread.22584/page-2#post-192285
  22. There may be a simpler way, but I think this one will work: Put a chest where your split will be, set up a filter on both sides, then have a timer for each. Put an inverter behind one of the timers, and then wire the backs of both timers up to your lever. Now, if you've got this set up right, when you flick the switch one of your timers will start up, and the filter will start pumping out in that direction, and the other should stop pumping stuff out. It sounds complicated but isn't really that hard since its a mirror image of something you probably use a lot with RP2 tubes.
  23. Google forestry nei patch or something.
  24. Download the server from here, then unzip it and press "Launch.bat".
  25. I'm pretty sure he's linking to the wrong server there. Google McPortCentral, that should have the link for a Forestry download which will work on a Tekkit server(Click "Get Ports", then "1.2.5", then find Forestry)
