The Tekkit server is Minecraft 1.2.5. The last line of your post also told you how to find out what version of Bukkit it's using. No, it doesn't need updating as long as its the latest version of Tekkit(If you can connect then it is).

Then it's a huge crippling lag spike, probably caused by either something huge happening to your computer or server. Is there any way to track CPU usage at the time of the crash? Like I said, it's a very vague problem, but perhaps there is a way to work out if its something on the server or on your computer. Did anything in particular happen just before this every time?

I'm just gonna point out here that Read Timed Out is usually when the client crashes/loses connection to the server, hence the Connection Reset messages. Either something is causing a huge crippling lagspike or your Internet connection is crashing. The Read Timed Out is just the error message and is actually very vague on the cause of the problem.

I think this is usually a problem with the antivirus. Which one are you using?

The problem you have here is that Tekkit is in Minecraft 1.2.5, before both client and server merged.

Do you have any plugins on the server? They could be causing this. PS, putting [urgent] won't actually make any difference to the speed or quality of replies you get. Just a heads up.

Did you not use Ctrl-F4? It's in the Buildcraft addons list.

There are a few plugins, I think one of them is called TekkitRestrict. Search it in the forums and you should find it. There are others out there, I just remember that one off the top of my head at the moment.

I think you have the wrong guy, the one who was screwing up this thread wasn't doctor, it was VideoBoy. Doctor, I'm not certain, but I've never seen monitors print in colour. Check out the ComputerCraft wiki, you should find any information there.

There's definately a world edit which works for Tekkit, test the version before Tekkit's

Unfortunately I can't go on my computer at the moment, so it wouldn't be much use. Thanks a for the offer though Also, the trap is multi-functional. It catches the culprit, removes their underwear, and also catches someone to brief everyone else about the terrible things they might see if they look inside the trap. The briefer is then recycled to brief people on possible options of painful torture methods which can be used on the now exposed...areas. I considered adding a photographer trap as well, but that's an optional extra, you might as well bring your own cameras and spam pictures all over the Internet so that everyone can enjoy!

It won't work on the server, because the server is Bukkit and needs special modifications to get things to work on the server side. I think it's possible to make it work on your client, but not the server.

I'm fairly sure that the latest version for minecraft 1.2.5 works fine.

Ugh raft isn't Bukkit ported, as far as I know. Unless in the past few days the maker has gone back to 1.2.5 and ported it to Bukkit it won't work on a server.
