Not anything really, but this is a really slippery slope. The original power convertors that powercrystals made? I requested those from him, and he made them. To me, those filled a huge hole that it turns out people really like, because there are now like 4 different mods that bridge Buildcraft and Industrial Craft.

You can put in your request for a mod here. on this board. BE SPECIFIC and try to keep them reasonable. Nobody is going to respond positively to "THE AETHER BUT WITH TITS" Questions about how you should do this go in this thread, not your actual requests.

Hell if I know! I do know this is the place to ask it. Keep in mind that you don't get to come in here and go 'helo i want to make a mod how do i do it' Its more of a "I can't get this function to do what I want, can someone tell me what is wrong?"

TFCraft is like Hack Slash Mine in that its way beyond meshing it with a seperate modpack. TFCraft changes so much of the base game as to really either make it impossible to mesh with Technic (or Yogbox) or the balance is thrown way off.

This 'community' is the same thing. Technic? The admins? These boards? The 1TB+ a day server? That's the community. I am the community, you are the community, Simpleguy, SCT, Jay?, hobo, everyone here is 'the community'. I might be a dense power tripping asshole* but I can also see that you are not 'getting it'. You insist to simply not believe what we are telling you, and instead spin it around like we are trying to make you out to be a bad guy, or that we claim don't make mistakes. Nobody is making you out to be a bad guy at all. What is happening is you are on a soap box screaming at people at the mall while they shop, spittle flying from your frothing maw, fist in the air, hair shuddering as you half-seizure out your ABSOLUTE knowledge that you know better if the people would only SEE THE LIGHT. I don't know if you've ever actually paid attention, but we make mistakes constantly. We own up to them, apologize, and keep trying to move on. If you are going to try to make a point, don't generalize and def. don't claim we do things we don't do. If you are going to lie you have to be *way* better at it. * I totally am

Oh hey now, we're just joshin' ya. We mean well, honest! But yeah, its in alpha. The scope of this mod is pretty huge, and its a wonder that it works at all considering its Minecraft core. Right now the ground work is being laid, and eventually Frizzle will start adding in more content. Just chill out and wait for the magic.

A lot of people don't 'get' inertia either. You know how hard it is to steer Tekkit? It's like, woah man, ridgedog hard. There is a reason we don't rapid-fire updates left and right, because that causes fragmentation. Suddenly instead of ONE tekkit server and ONE tekkit client, you have two of each, or four, or six. Suddenly, you have people running server A but people trying to connect with client B, but a server C that has client A's trying to connect to it. This part, right there, the fragmentation, is what everyone seems to miss. It is a hell of a lot more than throwing out a server and a client, its about doing it in a way that makes sense. I can tell you right now, server ops would rather do a small fix on their end rather than deal with 3 separate clients and trying to explain to them that no, you have to connect with THIS specific one, not any other one, and all of the white noise that suddenly erupts on their forums, their web sites, their irc channels, their email boxes. The inertia of Tekkit is heavy, really heavy. We don't bother doing incremental updates because its a pain in the ass for support. We try to do major, large-bore updates all at once so the community can have a few days (or a week) of growing pains instead of chronic ones all the time. We also aren't a professional outfit, not at all, so realize that if you are going to expect to be treated like a customer we are going to laugh in your face instead. If you want to be treated LIKE A PERSON then come on down, lets hang out and have a talk.
