Just a correction, 'requested' is quite a stretch. He punished players for using the Technic launcher. Outside of Technic, Tekkit, or anything else. If you play any Minecraft through the Technic Launcher you were at risk to have your world destroyed. SirSengir never requested anything, nor spoke to anyone, nor actually talked to any of us. He decided to spend time to code (and then attempt to hide) code that would destroy your world, any player's world. I suppose he thought it was clever, I just thought it was mean and punished the wrong people. So yeah, if you want to stretch the truth to where it's more twisted then a standard falsified 'fact' then sure, it was requested to be removed. :allears:

Pffftttt nobody plays vanilla. Minecraft is suffernig because Mojang doesn't "get it", they either lost sight or never actually knew where they were taking the game, and they certainly don't seem to have any idea where they want to take the game anyway. Besides talking about how they can make more money. And going back on the whole "every version of Minecraft is yours!!" Man I could be critical about Mojang all day, it's practically my hobby.

SMP and I are ~super bros~. He himself doesn't want to take on Buildcraft/RedPower/etc, although he gave us some textures he was doing for something else to be used for Buildcraft. It's just a time sink from what he tells me, which is why ColTim and I have modified and added stuff to this to make it Technic. ColTim has done 99% of the work, I did some tools and buildcraft stuff is all. SMP is cool with this, its just he didn't want to pour any time into any mods since they can rise and fall in an instant.

The problem with the server arms of both Hack Slash Mine and TFC is that they are both made for vanilla, not bukkit. We can't give out Minecraft server files so vanilla servers have to be assembled on the machine they are to be used on. However, Bukkit files can be given out, so a fully-assembled, ready-to-go bukkit-ized versions of TFC and Hack Slash Mine would be easy. However there is still the weird schism between vanilla modders and bukkit modders, so good luck to that.

Why have the ocean at 128? I'd figure to simply make land generation go above 128, large hills and mountains, you know, while keeping the sea at 63. Big oceans don't do anything at all, not right now.

Advanced Power Systems for buildcraft is pretty neat, although I don't know what needs to be 'fixed' besides the mod itself to stop being so unstable. Flans Plane Mod is so gross from the outside I'd ever expect someone to actually go in there and try to fix anything. I have always wanted Flan's vehicles to run off of Buildcraft/IC2 fuel though. The gas cans from IC2 especially, its like made for it!
