Re: Bugs found in Tekkit 2.0 This is a solution for those using PEX and modifyworld, for 3 nodes to add that prevent usage of the CTII, Alch table, and righclicking with the p.stone, since it bypasses protections to change blocks. This dont prevent ppl from crafting it, place it etc, but it cant be opened/rightclicked. - -modifyworld.item.use.27526.on.block.* - -modifyworld.item.use.*on.block.132 - -modifyworld.item.use.*on.block.235 - modifyworld.* Note that the last node is needed, or else everything gets blocked, and i mean everything . Modifyworld should look something like this: informPlayers: true enable: true itemRestrictions: true messages: prohibitedItem: You have prohibited item "%s". whitelistMessage: You are not allowed to join this server. Np, i see some other server allready know of the transmutationbug, but i guess, its not wort sharing with others, since it benefits them ... The P.stone is also worth dissable usage of, if possible (ofc, this dont affect private servers with friends) as it bypasses most protectionplugins on the live transmuting. -

Ive seen several players do it. They might not tell you for all u know. Ppl that dupe usually dont tell it ... And i belive i wrote in the first line that transmutationtables were also making duping. Ive seen cobble duped, diablocks duped, redmatterblocks duped .... -

The dupebug is also in the transmutationtable, and the bug there is even worse. Craftingtable to duped stuff liked copper, tin etc .... the other does more .. I know why its happening with the CraftingTable II, and ill get a fix posted soon (if noone does it before me) The bold there btw dont refer to the second bug, read what i post bfore u reply -
I really recommend dissabling the transmutationtable (if u dont know howto, just dissable EE) and also dissable the usage of the Craftingtable II. We just found some severe dupebugs in them, and i mean, theyre nasty. If you arent running a creative server, just dissable it. I wont ofc tell what the bug is, thats just plain stupid, but its there, and its nasty!

Im sadden by players that really feel the urge to go exploit stuff like that, so that it affects all the other players. All usage (interaction) of the p.stone is now dissabled, but its still avlible to have, and use in inventory, etc etc. -

I hope u guys follow me when i say we wanna go by the rule: "If you can do it, its legal". That involves dissabling some parts of some mods, since they way they interact bypasses protection added. We are always open for discussion on what to activate at all time. Server is still runned for u players, so you can have a good time, build under a safe enviroment, with as many aspects of Tekkit as possible. And with as little rules as we can. Hopefully we can activate EE again tomorrow, where the tools for greifing are dissabled, but there is still a way to get to the remaining cool items. Dark matter will be able to reach, but Ill say, its not easy! :) -

But on the bright side, we are planning in integrating EE to the server. Ofc, we wont add all of it, EE really dont fit SMP, but since its added to Tekkit 2.0, and u guys want it, we will start off slowly, and add more spects off it as we get it tested out with the plugins we are using. We are ofc not gonna add stuff thats way to overpowered, or that can be considered "greifertools". We are always also trying our best to fix whatever bugis reported in, and we may at any time do restart, to fix pressing issues, or just to do some of them normal fixes. We try to deal with issues ingame asap as its reported, but sometimes, we just dont have time (or we gotta go sleep). Then its just to use our forums and we will look at it as soon as we get the time. A link to our website can befound ingame, its really hard to miss We will never use whitelist again, we belive that if you can do it, its legal. Ofc, we havent installed Tekkit 2.0 blindly, several aspects have been dissabled, just becouse it can be used to greif with, or do other damage. Log on, play, behave, and have a TON of fun, we got some awesome staff that help you out when needed. Go into ur modfolder, create a subfolder called "_Dissabled" or similar, and just drag the zipfile of whatever mod u want dissabled into there. I btw should add, Tekkit 2.0 give ALOT of those errors in console, if ur running fine, and want to keep that mod, just look another way ... (it seems like u might have been changing some of the configs for some mods aswell when looking at that logfile)

If this is linked to us converting the map or not i dont know. But atleast now u can log on, without getting disconnected :) -

If its the first time you are logging in, then coords arent needed, as u then are at /spawn I think its fixable, but i need some more info first :)
