  1. try updating your java, seems like an error in the server software, not the game.
  2. get the TekkitRestrict plugin if you're lazy. Otherwise, a good configured NoCheatPlus should do the trick.
  3. I'm having the same issue. I can confirm that it's NOT worldedit. Having OP on the server seems to cause this... no idea why. EDIT: disregard - it wasn't that. Try and disable tekkitrestrict and see what errors you get (tekkitrestrict removes errors from log - which is kinda stupid if you try to debug)
  4. I have beta access, but sadly for you, I'm bound by a NDA, so I can't tell you much, except that it's really really good, and it's are still only in the beta stage ;)
  5. update your EE to the newest version found on MCPortCentral - fixes multiworld problems
  6. sort through the lsit? O_o
  7. You are correct, and there is a fix
  8. Sorry for being rude, but your answer can be found in less than 5 minutes using google, but to answer your question: mod blocks/items have bukkit names, just put an "x" in front of the ID, and using just the ID (not bukkit name) works fine - I use it that way (so you probably screwed up somewhere). Use your server startup log to see any errors MCJobs outputs. remember... there are 2 copper ores (one of them isn't used -> 140:5). just add "x249" to your config. should fix your problem.
  9. there's no fix for oyur problem... yet. Keep a lookout for this plugin, when/if it gets released, it should fix most of your problems, or simply just disable the damn phil stone alltogether.
  10. Do some investigation, you can't expect us to do all the work for you. MC Jobs Configuration
  11. use MC Jobs, works pefectly (if you pair it with logblock, which MC Jobs support, remember to exclude fakeplayers from being logged by LogBlock, or your console will give you hell).
  12. Tekkit takes up more resources than vanilla does, expecially if you haven't set your dedicated graphics card to take over when you launch java apps. Optifine actually does the job better than vanilla, so removing would be like shooting yourself in the foot. Try googling it, I know for a fact that there are tons of guides out there that shows you how to set it up.
  13. Always stop the server before you change configs. However, it doesn't look lige an ID conflict to me. Looks more like a FML incompatible mod. Which mod(s) are you trying to install and have they been ported to bukkit?
  14. I'm gonna back up Torezu on this one. Pistons don't explode, no matter how you go about it. You messed something up and got to pay the price.
  15. My guess is that your computer has already reserved more than 1GB of memory for background programs and will thus deny java from reserving 3GB (which isn't available). Do as CoreyD97 suggested, and you should be fine (unless you plan on playing with the client simultaneusly, then just forget all about having a server running).
  16. Go into your RedPower Config and find the Deployer blacklist. Add the Red Matter Axe to that blacklist and restart the server. Enjoy.
  17. That is true. If you use your google skills, you can actually find the source code on github and take a peek at the current work.
  18. Use redpower frames.
  19. Where have you heard that it's possible? I would very much like to disprove you.
  20. EE3 is being designed to be more balanced, especially in multiplayer. There will also be a resemblance to ThaumCraft - since a lot of stuff will be switched out with new stuff.
  21. PermissionsEx with ModifyWorld and DisableCraft should do the trick for most servers Also have a look at your config files for RedPower, BuildCraft and IndustrialCraft. They offer some neat features like blacklisting items in machines and native disabling of items/blocks.
  22. Always take your servers gamestyle and scale into consideration. If you want an economy running efficiently and easy, forget about EE - it will utterly destroy any hopes of having a balanced economy (unless you are very skilled at setting up a server and intimate with how the mod works, then you can probably leave some of it enabled). Also a good idea would be to fix the minimum interval of redpower timer to at least 1 second and also disable cobblestone generators. Anchors, anchor carts, teleport tethers and dimensional anchors - get rid of them, they will hug memory and ultimately cause lag. You should also consider disabling BC transport pipes, since most players out there are generally very bad at using them - it will cause entity overflow if left running = heavy lag. Disable Dark rooms and add bonemeal, buckets and bowls to deployer blacklist. There literally a thousand things you can do, and it all depends on your preferences. How do you want players to play on your server? I speak only from experience when I say that EE is probably the worst thing that ever happened to large-scale server owners.
  23. Do yourself a huge favor and get rid of EE - unless you plan on only playing with a few friends. May god be with you if yoy leave EE enabled and unattended...
