There has been multiple DMCAs staged against the Technic Pack website. Kake and the bunch decided to do the "prove it" dance, and they were promptly rendered to be complete BS. Based on the reasoning that forge is already about fifty times better than anybody ever expected a modding library to be, that the modding api was delayed 4 times, and that this is mojang making it, I would say the chances of it being good are pretty low.

Am I the only one who turn on VSync because I don't want my graphics card to spontaneously combust? If you don't have an amazing card or one that has even slight problems with overheating if the inside of your case gets really hot, you can fry cards when running games at FPS of above 150. I have not heard of this problem with minecraft specifically, but I have heard of several other games that disabling VSync can cause some problems, but just in case, I do not want to cause a new graphics card to become a fancy modern art paperweight.

Another thing worht mentioning: Something that proves that Left 4 Dead has nothing to do with Half Life or Portal, is that Left 4 Dead is a movie. Yes, the plot of the game is that you are controlling the actors in a movie about zombies. I think it is an interesting way to present a zombie game that has a gritty feel yet also absurdly over the top.

It is intended to, but the key words in which why it doesn't work is in the title: PATCHER. it patches the class files rather than overwriting them, and when those class files don't exist, it has some issues.
