I know that the problem is that it is inconsistent, I was starting that I believe it is a bug that they are even connecting.

This is a known bug, the launcher is super intensive while downloading packs. If I am doing anything while downloading packs on the launcher, my computer slows down a lot. It won't Hamm anything, so just don't run anything else while using the launcher.

I am pretty sure that they aren't supposed to connect to wood fences in the first place.

are you connecting to a vanilla server or a tekkit lite server?

This is a known bug with Balkon's Weapon Mod. The way I fixed it on a server was by as I was connecting, I spammed right click. I crashed, but when I reconnected, the spear was on the floor, and I was able to play.

The file is probably failing to download. Change your modpack url from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/133366779/Pixelmon Client.zip to http://dl.dropbox.com/u/133366779/Pixelmon Client.zip/ the trailing slash shows that that is the end of the URL. On topic: no. Thaumcraft 3 will never be added. I asked icewolf about it, and his response was basically "We aren't going to get permission for it because we aren't going to ask. Even if we did get permission, I wouldn't add it because it doesn't fit the theme of technic."

No, that isn't the problem, the SMP and SSP ends of minecraft have been merged, the MP player class failure is due to the local server that runs on the client.

Try clicking the gear icon next to the tekkit lite pack icon, then clicking "reset pack."

No it didn't. You probably have a virus, I would advise getting an antivirus that isn't crap. it might also be that the files are hidden, etc.

Are the mods you downloaded for 1.5.1?

Sounds like you have too intensive of mods for your terrible computer/terrible internet/both. Divine RPG seems to be the biggest offender of this.
