  1. I would never ever want that on my server, except if you have a 32gb ram dedicated server, it will eat all your memory for each world created in mystcraft, would be a total nightmare for lag.
  2. I found out that if you have your SWRG (the flying ring from EE) in your hotbar or perhaps some other EE items there (not tested with all of them), the client crash when you right click a teleport pipe, solution, just make sure you don't have it in your hotbar and that you're not flying and everything works #1, I also noticed that most of the time, it doesn't say the number of connected pipes but it works anyway even if they say 0 connected pipes if they are on the correct frequency, they work, and I got 2 set separated by around 4000 blocks and they work without any kind of chunk loaders, if both ends have been loaded of course, they work. Using Server 3.1.2 here.
  3. Where is this fix please, want to test it out myself, was planning on making a base in the Nether but didn't stay more than a few minutes there because of the lag it cause.
  4. On my private family server we are currently 2 experienced players and 1024mb wasn't enough, not sure how they calculate that 600mb should run for 10 players, totally impossible.

Whatever you do, don't even think about using the crappy BC3 port that is available on MCportcentral, you will loose your world if you try it, lucky for me I tried that on a test server, its not ready and they won't update it since they moved to Minecraft 1.3.1 so no more devs on Minecraft 1.2.5
  6. It will never ever be fixed if I understand the guy that made NEI is a total (censored) about the whole thing, there's a cheat exploit in it that can be used by griefers and hacked clients and he basically said to one person to (insert the insult of your choice here) about that...
  7. Get a no-ip its free just be aware that you will need to give them the port used by your server and they will have to add it like so : your.domain.no-ip.com:portusedbyyourserver

Here it is finally, I've decided to post a link to a full album rather than some screenshots directly, you can see I'm working on a massive building that will hold some forestry stuff (1x tree farm, 1x wheat farm, 1x pumpkin farm and probably a watermelon farm too) this is far from completed, I'M planning the biggest project I've ever worked on Minecraft there. Not with Tekkit, sorry, we are only 3 on my family server and we had to switch to a 2gb plan, we had a 1gb plan that worked fine with the regular vanilla bukkit server but with tekkit the memory didn't keep up, they claim we could be 20 with a 2gb plan, no way it would never ever be possible to have 20 players there, if 1 of us make exploration with the swiftwolf rending gale flying around new territories, we usually get kicked out because the memory is filled up quicker than lightning, and just by generating map, imagine 5-6 people exploring the world, totally impossible to do that.
  10. I'm sorry for not posting anything right now I'm extremely tired, all the pictures are taken but I need to upload them and that will take awhile, will have to do this today but I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it.
  11. Yup and you can select which groups will spawn there, if you have new people on your server you can even set their spawn with a place with a tutorial with all the rules and such. For the pictures, they will be there soon, stay tuned they should be there before 5pm (GMT-5) but its not finished right now, all buildings are the same except the main place and empty for now, but I'm planning big there.

If you want a simple elevator plugin, take a look at lift on bukkit plugins website, you can't make it more simple and it works #1, did one to go down to my underwater city, clean and simple, will try to post pictures soon, but still in construction, empty for now, buildings are there but not all of them, will post pictures probably this evening.

What about posting pictures or videos of your creations, that could be fun to see what others have made, I would strongly suggest getting EE collectors or things that prove you can't play genuine (cheating with collectors and such isn't playing Minecraft, brag about a diamond block house when you have 10 diamonds each minute in a collector isn't a proof of creativity) if you have these on, also most best designed collectors and things like that can be quite easy to replicate from youtube videos, that doesn't show any kind of creativity there, only that you know how to copy someone else hard work.
  14. Perhaps you have forestry installed, you have to disable ore generation in the base.conf file in forestry folder in your config folder.

Don't waste your time sensors don't keep their name once you assign them (essential thing to use them you can't use them without a name for each) in the bukkit version we have and there's no other bukkit port actually, its a known bug that is fixed in the latest ccsensors version but not ported to bukkit so not available on Tekkit.

I got worldguard and essentials (take a look at Essentials config you can quickly get rid of creepers damage to the world, theses aren't fun on tekkit server, especially in a underwater city that could be a real problem there) , those are real nice tools to have on hand, my underwater city is free from any monster spawning thanks to worldguard, I don't have to fill the place with torches so I can place the RP2 lamps where I want them and not worry about surprise monsters spawning everywhere. For the noclip, maybe its not a bad idea, would it work through Forcefields, that would solve some problems for some admins, lucky for me my server is a strict family private server, seeing how hard it is to maintain a public one, I don't have time for this, I want to play the game and not worry about griefers and such.

That's one that can't be seriously added to any public servers, theses could do a hell of damages if used by noobs and griefers, already the forcefield cause some serious troubles to some server OPS they can't get pass the Forcefield of any players and actually no bukkit plugins can protect or override it if needed (to my current knowledge actually)
  18. You got me some ideas, will have to add some buildings to my underwater city, just a quick question, at what level are your base starting underwater exactly, I'm at 43 for most of mine but not sure if deep enough for everything I plan to add there.

I'm scared of it affecting the outside of my buildings, don't want to make a huge mess with water around being all funky, cause I have plans to add Ships and Boats mod once its released for SMP and 1.3.1 and tekkit is finally updated to this version (maybe I'll be 60 yrs old when that happens but who cares, Minecraft is so much addictive) would love to try the forcefield, but just not sure where to begin with that mod, will try to find tutorials but that seems to be hard cause there's 2 version of MFFS and both are different, so finding the tutorial that works with the Immibis version we have in tekkit could be a challenge.

I'm afraid of using the dark matter shovel inside a building, same thing for destruction catalyst, don't want to remove the building itself with it, but perhaps the dark matter shovel could work, I don't think it can remove anything else but dirt, sand and gravel after all, maybe that's not a bad idea, will have to try, was thinking about BC pumps, but I'm afraid there's are source blocks of water inside, if there are source blocks, it won't work cause it will keep refreshing the water (like infinite source of water)

Tried the trick with the volcanite amulet today, ended up with a load of obsidian to clean up and a load of cobble too, since I had to get rid of the lava with the evertide amulet too, not a bad trick, it works well, a lot better than playing with worldedit that can cause a load of water to be really annoying outside of the water base (tried in the past in vanilla Minecraft on bukkit server) May try the trick with the forcefield (never ever touched that, a brand new thing for me), once the building is finished, I could probably get rid of it if needed.

The server need to upgrade to 3.1.2 or you have to downgrade to 3.0.4 to join their server, if you want to downgrade, just press the options button and choose manual build selection then choose the 3.0.4, then click on the clear cache button and click ok, now login, you should see that you are downloading the mods needed for 3.0.4 then you will be able to join the server you want to play on.
  23. Would say get rid of the NEI server side (in your server mods folder) its not even needed and could be used against you and there's actually nothing that can protect you from the bug there is with that, the NEI client will work and still show you all the recipes and such, so no worry there.

I'm in the same boat here, but I used the Destruction Catalyst to clear out a huge underwater area and started to build but once the buildings are here, is there anything that would help me clear the water out of them quickly, I've done it in a vanilla bukkit minecraft once and I had to fill up the entire thing with dirt and clear them out myself which is really a pain in the butt to do, also the fire spreading is disabled on my server so can't use the wool burning trick (beside, I would need a hell load of wool to fill up all the buildings I'm planning to build there) Any tricks to quickly clear water from a underwater building, was thinking a BC2 pump but I don't think it could work and would take a load of time to do it too.

Here is my config for LWC, just drop the folder once extracted to your plugins folder along with the latest version of LWC.jar (not included here, I think it would break their license to provide it, so quickly find it on bukkit website) I disabled auto protecting of fence_gates because it didn't work properly for some reason, but all the rest should work fine with all the tekkit stuff including Iron Chests and all the IC2 machines and a load of stuff.
