Uhh, the Launcher uses the .jar mod files that are in the modpack.jar. Not the minecraft.jar. May I inform you that MultiMC can have multiple Minecraft instances so you don't have only one installation? You can have one for custom mods, one for Vanilla, one for your server and you can just choose which one you want to play.

I prefer KBI More Music Discs for this. You can add as many discs as you want and craft them all too. You will need to make the shapeless recipe for custom discs in the config file.

You might want to head over to the forum thread of magiclauncher and the modders. You´ll get more help there for sure...*cough*

Go to your .techniclauncher/technicssp/redpower/redpower.cfg and open it with Wordpad. Do never open it with Notepad, because Notepad breaks the way the config is built up. Then go to this line: logic.enableSounds=1 and set that to a 0.

Try a medieval-like keep, castle or mansion. Then build all your machinery and the rooms that you want in it. You can even include a basement if you need more room.

Well, you can place multiple sorting machines next to eachother and if you just leave the sorting machine in the first mode, if the item is registered in the sorting machine they'll go that path. Just always make sure to have a storage chest in this system with a restriction tube so every non-registered item goes there.
