At this time you can but only temporarily unfortunatly. The assets are replaced by the default images when you reopen. Custom images and hopefully more are a planned features though. We're always working on new stuff and ways to improve existing features.

All the information you need will be posted to the front page. Anything else you just have to be patient. Something the community isn't good at I know, but it's a virtue.

Well if the exe doesn't work for you and you have windows, then something is very wrong on your end. With your computers settings. That is too difficult for me to troubleshoot without information so I suggest you post a bug report about it. Make sure you fill out all the information fields while doing so. The common problem thread will tell you how to find all the information. All the information you need for that form is usually at the top of your launchers logs as well. The common problems thread will tell you how to find those.

A friendly reminder is ok now and then. Acting like you're a mod isn't, like telling someone they're going to get banned or warned or acting smug. Just be helpful and not an asshole. Point them in the right direction, or if they sign their names, let them know they should check out the rules. Backseat modding while being a dick is what I dislike. I like it even less when people both backseat mod AND report the person they do it to. That annoys the hell out of me because then I have to go look into it and oh they've already learned from their mistake and my time is wasted. Also, If you wan't to poke fun at an idiot, don't try to backseat mod at the same time too. And also be actually funny. That is really important.

I can't think of what's causing this. I've only seen a few similar reports. My gut says something to do with java. Are you using the .exe or the .jar? Could you try the .jar?
