  1. When you say your old Minecraft, do you mean Vanilla Minecraft (not the one in the pack)? If so, that means there is an issue with something other than the launcher
  2. My launcher works fine (along with the majority of the people using it) so I can almost guarantee that it is not an issue "on the launcher side". When you uninstalled, did you turn off your antivirus?
  3. He did make a bug report, pic were absent along with some info...
  4. No derailment! Stop take it to the Kitty Jail thread! Don't end up like me.
  5. I'll take a look but no promises I will be able to help...
  6. Good for you, now can you get some pictures and put them on your bug report?
  7. So it has the extension but it won't launch with Java? That is odd. I really don't know what else to suggest. Sorry If I think of anything I will be sure to post here.
  8. You will do. OP: Seriously you need to put some more effort into your posts. I can't speak for others but I will be very reluctant to help if you can't even find the Bug Report section for yourself.
  9. What is the name of the file you have (with the extension)?
  10. Bride, I'm tapping out you help him please.
  11. In the bug report section (Pick the right on depending on what pack you are using)
  12. That is very odd... Jar files are usually set to open with Java by default. Have you at any point changed that?
  13. What are you talking about?
  14. To fix that you need to change the extension of the file from .zip to .jar
  15. What? What do you mean?
  16. What does that message say?
  17. then post a bug report with screenshots in the appropriate section EDIT: and use the edit button
  18. Have you tried right clicking and selecting Run with... Java.exe (That is the one I use not javaw.exe)
  19. ? What? What do you mean "normal Texture pack"? If you mean you don't have a texture pack, you should post a bug report with screenshots
  20. You need to uninstall Java from the control Panel IIRC. Sounds like you have a lot of things going on there. I would recommend nuking all Java related files and all Technic related files and starting from scratch. Other than that I don't know what to tell you. Sorry :(
  21. Also, make sure any mods that are usually installed in the minecraft.jar are installed in the modpack.jar. (which I assume is allowed to distribute?)
  22. If you can't get onto regular Minecraft, it is definitely not an issue with the Launcher so I can't help you.
  23. If you migrated your account you need to use the e-mail that you migrated the account to... If that is not working it is not the Launchers issue, but either yours or Mojangs...
  24. You are really good at screening out the undesirables though, so you don't need to be good at admining. Plus this server is great for what it is, a really open, fun, community driven server. Instead of the plugins and structures making the server notable, it is the players and their interactions that make the server so fun. If it were an open server it would be terrible but because you are able to very effectively weed out people who would abuse the system and cause issues, the server flourishes. (Plus I am a member so that is a definite plus )
  25. It can't hurt to try right? The reason I am saying this is because it is a very well documented issue with certain AV's (including Norton) that causes this issue.
