If you are on a mac, it is not the same issue. You need to make your own bug report. OP: This sounds like an issue for the Tekkit/Technic Bug Boards.

If you get past the Mojang screen you need to post in the Tekkit section. If you don't get past this screen, you need to actually give us some info... What is your launcher version? What is your OS and bit number? What is your Java version? Do you know for sure you don't have an Antivirus? Read the sticky to find how to get your log and post it.

OP: You should try posting this in the right section (Technic Bug Boards) you are more likely to get help over there parefsmon: By filling out your own bug report instead of threadjacking this one, you make sure we have important info that will help to solve your issue.

Agreed. OP: If you don't want to get a new antivirus (you should) you need to turn off your antivirus while you download the pack.

Rufio is that asian with the red spiky hair right? That sounds like a fun costume as well. The respirator sounds like a good idea. Something you could use for the helmet is a Swedish Steel Military helmet... It might to too heavy/ungainly though. They do look very similar to the Rangers helmet though. Pretty sure there is a site that you can order them from for like 25$ or so... EDIT: Here is a pic of the helmet:

AFAIK you can't only disable parts of an item without an option in the config files.

Are you planning on posting pics? That sounds like a really good costume if it is done well. Do you have anything for the breathing mask?

You never struck me as the DM kind of guy. I am odd in that I listen to most genres but I generally only like certain songs. I second the suggestion to post a recording here by the way

From what i can tell, Redd13 said to run your un-modded Minecraft client (the one from Mojang) and it will give you a message telling you to install a program (and likely give you a link) install that and it might work. I have not tested this, I am just trying to translate what Redd said.

Pretty sure this guy has either fixed his issue or has left... The last message in this topic was in august. If you have a similar problem, posting a bug report might be a good idea.

Just because it worked with Java 7 doesn't mean it will always work. Java 6 for Macs is the version the launcher was developed with. Using something other than that can cause problems.

Which one is yours? Do you have a topic on these forums?

A great thing about the pack is that (like the faithful pack) it blends quite well with unfinished textures because it is essentially the vanilla textures with much more detail.
