Sigh, the exe is a file that runs the jar for you. Downloading the jar will just skip a step. Try it and then you can tell me if it work or if it didn't

Download the zip in the same place as the exe (IIRC its the Linux/jar) It is best to use something other than Internet Explorer to download it (if you use IE you will need to change the file extension to .jar instead of .exe) Technic is only for 1.2.5 and use the edit button next time.

Thats not the right launcher version... Try using the jar instead of the zip. If you don't know what that means try using the search bar at the top right of the page.

I never had too much of an issue with French but I grew up around it so that was likely a contributing factor.

Also we have silent letters (why do we do that?) and homonyms and all that fun stuff. As a native English and French speaker I am confident saying that French with masculine and feminine is easier than English.

No comment other than to say that Canada also uses the "confusing" definition. The English language has been said to be the hardest to learn as a second language, so I am not surprised that there are a few confusing quirks to our fine language. You could write about the bi/semi controversy.

Pretty sure you should be using the most updated APPLE Java version. (6 IIRC) I think you get it on their site but I don't know.
