Homeschooling my kids. Tell us a little about yourself: My wife and I, as well as our kids, are all autistic. As primary caretaker, I can be away from my computer for days at a time. I'm also a spoken word game designer and theorist (some of my work was cited in a paper from Finland). Tell us about something you like about yourself: I'm diligent and generous to a fault. Age: 47 IGN: Le_Joueur Time Zone: CDT (GMT -6) How long have you been playing Minecraft?: Couple of years How long have you been playing Tekkit?: Since before it became Classic Do you like any video games other than Minecraft, if so name some: World of Warcraft, Solitaire How much time would you dedicate to the server?: It varies quite a bit depending on family duties Tell me in no less than 25 words what you can give to our server that no one else can: Since I have two teenage kids of my own, I guess that would be something of a fatherly influence. I'm also an impressario with redpower2 microblocks (I know, but I'm learning Immibis' too). I like to pitch in on projects with strong vision attached. I'm extremely self-sufficient to the point of never asking for anything; to me it takes away from the challenge of legit building.

None yet... ^.^ Minecraft experience to date: played beta since 1.5, technic tekkit since before it went classic A short paragraph about yourself and why you would like to play on our server: On the upside, I'm a generous fatherly type (I do have two teenage kids). I like building for aesthetics; I was a master of RP2 miniblocks, but I'm still learning Immibis' microblocks. I'm interested in trying out some prime number theories with the builder to make a huge village of unique buildings. On the downside, both of my kids are autistic: one with social phobia and the other middle to low functioning. My wife is also autistic, but has brain damage causing a progressive sleep schedule, epilepsy and agoraphobia. I'm autistic, but more in an asperger's syndrome way so I am the family caretaker. What this means is I may play for hours a day and then disappear for a week. I cannot make much of a time commitment as I never know what happens next. I look for servers who can handle vast builds that start and stop suddenly, but let me have my fun and don't remove or grief my stuff when I'm gone for so long. There is a solution for lightning. It's called a surge protector. Ask your electronics dealer for it. I'd suggest going one further and getting an uninterruptable power supply. It comes with it's own surge protector (a better one) and can give you up to an hour or so to shut down your computer during a power outage. These will prevent the destruction of expensive computer hardware. ^.^d

IGN: Le_Joueur Age: 47 Experience with Tekkit: From Pre-Classic through Lite; I've mastered them and I'm looking for a challenge. How long you have been playing for: Minecraft? Since just after Beta 1.3 and Tekkit shortly after it was released. What you are good at (Buildings, etc.): I am the master of microblocks and frequently do impossible things when detailing builds based on photographs. Why you think you would be a good addition to the server: I did great in Tekkit before it was called Classic. I've pretty much got Lite down, but I was building a lighthouse for someone's nautical spawn when I said to myself, "Wouldn't Greg's Lighting really make this build?" So I'm looking for a good server for the New Tekkit. A little bit about me: I'm married with two special-needs, autistic kids. My wife has epilepsy from minor brain damage and is a little more autistic then I am. Since I 'pass' the best, I'm the primary caretaker of the family; this puts heavy demands on my time. I'm not sure I can be on every week, but when I'm on it's for long chunks of time. ^.^
