Redstone currents cause iron pipes to change direction. I can see some red alloy wire at the bittom of your screenshot. This is most likely what is causing your problem

Did you actually try that in-game? Because that would be interesting to see if oil and lava made obsidian.

Is that why wooden slabs used to require a pickaxe to break, since slabs were (they might still be) the same block with different meta data for wood, stone, cobblestone, etc... slabs?

Thanks. Wings of Daedalus aren't the Doctor awho reference though (at least, not an intentional one). That's a good idea. Equivalent exchange has an amulet that does something similar, so it is possible. Now I have to go see how pahimar gets his power items to work. Yay, more decompiling.

How would I go about creating a 5x5 crafting table? And how would I add recipes for it? The only tutorials I could find were on how to make another crafting table block, not a completely different block and GUI.

The way I see it, people who use IRL pictures of themselves are generally not that intelligent. The one exception I can think of is Ashzification. Using an IRL picture of yourself is really just stupid. If go and look at the meta data on most pictures these days, it will tell you when and where the picture was taken. So using a picture of yourself as a profile picture allows a stalker or other creepy person to find out where you live, and what you look like. Hooray for technology making it easier for people to stalk us!

Easiest solution is to use MC edit to delete the chunks containing the offending blocks. New chunks will be generated next time you load the area, but the new chunks will have no machines or buildings in them. Edit: From the error log, it looks like you have a red matter axe inside a deployer, and you are trying to use the deployer. If that is the case, then just use MC edit to delete the deployer, instead of the entire chunk.

I wouldn't ask someone else to make a mod for me, especially one this complicated. I'm not afraid to ask for help though. This is going to be my first Minecraft mod, so I'll definitely be looking at the code of other mods that have features similar to what I want to implement. Thaumcraft is number one on the list of mods I want to look at the code for, followed by Industrial Craft, Red Power, and Forestry.

I have to go with Red Power 2 on this one. It can do everything Buildcraft can, and it does it in a much more intuitive, less laggy way. It hasn't quite gotten to the point where it renders IC2 obsolete, but I wouldn't really want it to anyways. RP2 + IC2 is all I'll ever need to be a happy minecrafter.

Or, you could setup a charging bench Mark 3. That would charge your quantum armour.

I believe the problem is that Mojang no longr supports Minecraft 1.1, which is the version of Minecraft that Tekkit 2.x runs. No 1.1 Minecraft, No 2.x Tekkit. Also, where on earth did you get the notion that Macs are immune to viruses. If I wa feeling particularly malicous, I could write a virus for Mac right now.

You need to have the wooden pipe coming out of the engine, an the gold pipe going into the pump, also, you need to have a waterproof pip going out of the pump into the tanks.
