  1. Failed to bind port generally means that either the previous instance failed to close correctly, or that a firewall/antivirus suite is potentially preventing you from using the port. Try rebooting and running the tekkit server.
  2. If it is successfully launching, you should see something more like this file https://gist.github.com/a42fd278b00471823668 The "C:\Users\James Nunn00\Desktop\Tekkit_Server_3.1.2>pause Press any key to continue . . ." part only shows up if you execute the 'stop' server command or if some weird exception was raised.
  3. http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Recycler There is only a 12.5% percent chance (according to the wiki) that you will actually generate scrap when using the burning items in the Recycler. This means that you will have to burn a lot of stuff before you can get enough scrap to easily generate UU Matter.
  4. The window says more than just "Press any key to continue", as that only happens after the server has either been manually stopped or has crashed. EDIT - You have to keep the CMD window open while the server is running. That is your console, and the way to easily execute commands
  5. I... I can't tell if you're serious with this part. I mean, yes, you do say the bit about gate trek, but still, you could be serious *twitches a little*
  6. Ugh, I hate this setup when it comes to the RP2 sorting machine, it's so freaking wasteful. The buffers aren't needed. The tube should just go straight into the sorting machine. Duncan admitted this in the video where he moved the system into the castle, but it (as of today) hadn't been translated to the main channel's series. They also came to the realization that the sorters don't take the damage value into consideration when routing, so that sorter with all the weapons in it is a complete waste for nearly all uses. Read the wiki that dralthi linked and try to figure it out, yourself. Don't just become another mindless drone trying to perform an exact copy of "something cool" that they saw the Yogscast guys make. Do iterative testing, making a small piece at a time and trying to get that to work. Make sure that you have enough Blutricity in the system. Multiple solar panels connected to the Battery Box, and make sure that it is fully charged. Notes on what I can see are here
  7. 1. Don't bump your threads. 2. To submit a bug report, please open your eyes 3. Why are you using start.command? Why aren't you using the Launch.sh file provided in the zip file?
  8. Seconding this. Here is the full list if its capabilities http://integratedredstone.wikispaces.com/Redpower+Machine#Machines-Restriction Tube (for some reason, you can't directly link to the Transposer section)
  9. One last thought - are you using the right pump? It wouldn't be the first time someone has confused them. This is the one you should be using with the steam engines. http://minecraftbuildcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Pump You might be using the IC2 pump
  10. You need a waterproof transport pipe, not just a normal transport pipe. http://minecraftbuildcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Waterproof_Pipes Also, 4 steam engines seems like a bit overkill for a pump. 4 redstone pipes would be cheaper, and once they fully warm up, will pump stuff out at a reliable rate. EDIT - *grumbles* I miss the forums saying "Hey, someone posted while you were dragging out a huge reply. Are you still sure you want to post?"
  11. That workflow seems... excessive. Did you check the links to see if those still work, or are any better (EDIT) than your current workflow? http://www.cutepdf.com/ This is what I used when was on the Windows side of things. It installs as a printer driver, so it can be used from nearly every application that has print support. Select the "Cute PDF" 'printer', and then it'll have you select the file to create or extend.
  12. It's easier on an iPad? If you're using Pages (or even Office 2008 or 2011) on a Mac, there is "Print to PDF" support built into the OS. There isn't anything special you need to do. Heck, if you're using something like Office on Windows, then there are free "Print to PDF" options available there, too. I can't specifically speak to Pages for iOS, but from a few of the support articles I have seen, you can pretty easily Export to PDF or MS Word, and then put it into a Dropbox account, email that to yourself, or send it to the iTunes Document Interface
  13. If that's the case, what are your cable lengths? May want to look at this article http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Cable#Cable_Efficiency
  14. There is the occasional glitch with IC2 where the transformers will stop outputting correctly. The workaround is to break and replace the cables connecting to it.
  15. https://github.com/Mojang/Minecraft-API
  16. There's been some stuff, but not a whole lot. They've got an official github repo for it, but it hasn't had any public pushes in a month. Tahg isn't with Mojang anymore.
  17. That's an unfortunate approach, as there are plenty of mods that were fine without an official API, or those using the (fairly robust) third party API (Forge, as an example). I've also got this (unsubstantiated) gut feeling that the "official" API will get pushed back, again, but that is just my paranoia.
  18. Double click the search box in the middle. The one that has an "a" in it/has a yellow border.
  19. That's the funny thing. He included the updated config files with every world download. There was a full list of all the mods used, and a seperate section that dated all the updates that were made, and what config changes were made.
  20. You underestimate the stupidity of some people.
  21. Right, and if you had paid any attention to the latter parts of the series, you would have known that they're basically waiting for Eloraam to give them a 1.3.2 version of RP2 so that they can reset the world and start fully testing the 1.3.2 mod interactions.
  22. We're likely going to be waiting on Redpower2. Eloraam only recently appeared on the Pahicraft server (direwolf20's SMP series), and they aren't running it yet. If they aren't running it, then it probably isn't anywhere near ready, yet.
  23. When connecting to the transformers, the 3dotted side is for the higher of the two voltages. I think your LV is backwards, maybe the MV, too EDIT - rewatched the video, and yes, both are backwards
  24. Repeats if you're only watching the first bit of the season and then giving up. He made it out to 106 episodes with season 4. Even DW himself said in one of the FTB videos (shot early in Season 4) that he wanted to show more exciting stuff, but couldn't because he was just early in the cycle of creating the Minecraft world.
  25. You are using a 32bit version of java. You need to install the 64bit version of Java (assuming you have a 64bit OS and processor), and make sure that you are calling that when you execute the script
