So I'm probably hosting a small server for our small LAN party on my computer, because it's the best of the bunch. Now I was wondering, how many people would be able to join without too much lag, when I want to play myself too. Network speeds won't be a real issue, we'll have Gigabit Ethernet. I have an Intel i7 3770, with 8 gigs of ram. I think I'd be able to address about 5 to Tekkit. So... Any thoughts?

If the mods get update for 1.3 at all. There probably is a 1.4 before that. That's about what I call screwed.

I'd stress 'if' if I were you. But really, don't think they aren't stupid. Or that they are nice to modders. Or that jakj won't come here to say "modding API won't be there until 2013".

This is different in that this is a huge change in how singleplayer works, basically forcing any mod author who hasn't got his or her mod in SMP to do so. (Think of Thaumcraft, Buildcraft 3.x, Logistics pipes, other cool stuff)

It is planned, but not until buildcraft 3.x is SMP.

Those are pretty good actually. But if I'd to play a flash games all week, It'd be Raze 2, Gemcraft, and the Last Stand Union City. Those are just great. EDIT: Add Achievement Unlocked 3. Just came out. :)
