Beats me. Though in my months of being on the Forums, i've noticed that Netherores causes a lot of problems.

I never get messages about tech-ie stuff, theyre mainly insults. But thats the way I love it.

Create your own modpack? There are plenty of mods out there to be added that will add new challenges. Or you can do what I do and take a leave of absence for 6 months.
