  1. Might be a nuclear reactor (most people put those in their basement, right?) which hurts players in an area when it heats up to a certain point. This has never happened to me before though, so it might not be that. Another issue someone on a server I played had once was this: He had combustion engines in his pyramid, but they somehow glitched out and hurt anyone inside the pyramid despite not having destroyed any blocks, but they didn't work either.
  2. Build a completely invincible base using only personal safes.
  3. I had an idea for a strategy once, but was never able to put it into play. You'd have to acquire 3 ion blast IIs, which shouldn't be hard if you use the engi cruiser. Then, you just auto fire them on weapons, shields and oxygen, one for each. Bam, dead crew, intact ship!
  4. Well, it looks like a fine error report to me. What, exactly, is wrong with it?
  5. Cool crash report dude. Anything else you needed?
  6. You know, money doesn't disappear if you don't spend it fast enough (unlike TF2). You could have, y'know, made a rainy day fund or something. But apparently, you didn't, and now it's a rainy day.
  7. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/small-scale-recruitment-thread.22584/
  8. http://www.java.com/en/ Just download it. It should choose the right OS and bit setting for you. Edit: But before that, uninstall all the java installations you currently have.
  9. I'm pretty sure that's his second homepage. Also, how the hell did you manage to download all that crap with the technic pack? Did you click every ad on the page, and then the link, perhaps?
  10. For uploading stuff here, I use imageshack. So you upload an image, and then view it. Click on "links to share this image", and copy the direct link. Then just click insert/edit image and put in the url. Should work.
  11. Disconnect all the advanced machines (rotary macerator, centrifuge extractor, etc.). I've seen people with this problem before, and it had to do with the AMs.
  12. Edit: Fail image. But anyways, Daniel's got it. It's right under the board title when you go in it.
  13. Do you have show hidden folders enabled?
  14. Why don't you look for it like Jay? said and tell us what happens? If you don't respond in ten minutes or so we'll know if your computer imploded or not.
  15. It's not possible AFAIK. Make the roaming folder in appdata and then give the .exe launcher a go. Edit: Do what Jay? said before you do this, just in case it installed somewhere else.
  16. It shouldn't since the launcher downloads a fresh copy of everything from the minecraft site.
  17. Isn't it just appdata that's hidden by default? The folders inside it shouldn't be hidden.
  18. Are you using the launcher updater? (the one that's an .exe) I seem to recall having some trouble with that. But once you run it for the first time it should make a technic-launcher.jar in the Roaming folder (Or something. It definitely is a .jar though). Try running that as it doesn't run the updater, which in turn runs the jar. Edit: You posted while I was typing. Anyways, try making a Roaming folder. Maybe that will do it?
  19. http://www.microsoft.com/net I assume that's what Jay? meant by .net framework.
  20. You submitted a bug report about tekkit with a technic version in the launcher section. Nice. I don't even know what's going on here. The only thing I do know is you have java 1.6.
  21. There's no way to do that. They have a 10,000 EU internal battery, and there's no way to turn them off with redstone, save waiting 2 days after disconnecting power. Says something about what it's meant for. For what you need though, it's better to use redpower lamps.
