Not only that but you can't make UU-mattter, Iridium, advanced alloys, nuclear reactor parts, wires, circuits or refined iron by condensing. IC2 is VERY different from EE2 in how they make their items hard to get. Dark Matter armor is 17 times more costy than diamond armor. Nano Armor is actualy much cheaper to make but requires a lot more time and steps.

I have to say EE2 but it is VERY close to IC2 (expecialy with new 1.3.2 reactors). I hate having all that dirt and cobblestone so I can turn them into iron and it expands the game by alot ( Try to get dark matter without using collectors.)

Good Now we need energy! Solar energy is not a good Idea because winter days there are very short. Wind power could be a good option simce we are at a high altitude. Nuclear power... we don't want another accident now do we? Geothermal would NOT work at all. And burning the forests there would just speed up our death. The rabid unicorns get really angry when we cut down trees.

Well I sometimes get the same feeling from Simon and Lewis but I don't know if you watched the other part of the yogscast. They all have below 700 thousand subscribers and so are a lot more personal than Simon and Lewis.

And quest for a booty too. My favourite 3 games EVER were the sly cooper series. I fangirled all over the floor after learning about sly 4. I also really like Ratchet & Clank and Jak and Daxter. They were cool. And Terraria was a great game. And also the now dead but used to be free to play Atmosphir. It was amazing.

Or maybe use QUALITY mods only. EE IS a quality mod just like IC, RP, CC and BC. I don't see why anyone would want those obsidian tools mods that are way to cheap and way too strong! EE is ALREADY in Tekkit. If we remove it the work so many people had to make it compatible with the other mods would be WASTED. Adding other mods just requires more effort and may not be worth it.

I agree. Now that we can only make tekkit servers using normal tekkit we can choose if we want it or not. I wouldn't even mind if it started locked by default but by changing a value in a config file or something, we could un-lock it!

Duncan knows tekkit quite a bit. The rest of the yogscast... not so much.

He says he is in a PVP map. Unless there was a grand prize, he was doing it for fun ( I assume) If I think a mod is so OP that it stops being fun, I don't use it ( same reason I don't like those obsidian tools mods. They are too easy to get and are too good!) ( Don't even get me started on those " Craft 9 coal togheter to get a diamond!") Some mods CAN be too OP. I don't think EE is one of those mods. From what he says, the game was a peace of pie, so he could just use dark matter stuff or diamond stuff and it would be more challenging and fun. Being a god is fun but when you run out of stuff to do it becomes boring. When that happens start making challenges for yourself! Restrict the use of certain items and try to achieve the same ( or similar) results. Also he is not saying EE it too useful. He is saying it is too powerful. A jetpack is useful but not OP (in my opinion). If someone DOES consider the macerator OP ( wich I don't and I doubt a lot of people do), then they have the option of not using it. The game becomes more challenging and most of the time, more fun. But I see where your argument is coming from and as so I hope I clarified what I meant to say.

If you did that you WANTED it to be overpowered! If you don't like EE than why did you play in a server with it? And EE is rotten. You are! You have the lack of will to not use something you consider bad. As a wise man once said: " If you think a rule is unjust and you still follow that rule, then YOU are unjust"

So comparing to THOSE amount ( I had no idea there were that many!), EE is THAT bad at all. I dislike mining more than 500 blcoks from home.

I agree. Disabling EE ( or parts of it) in a server is easy. Installing it togeter with Tekkit and make every player isntall it isn't as eay.

They haven't stopped. Both Jesse ( Revenge of the Q&A 2 OR 3 OR 4, I don't remember wich one) And Totalbiscuit (in his latest vlog) said they would keep doing it, since their schelude is more open now. And I didn't expect so many people here to know about them since TB said he'd never play minecraft.

Yeah, You're right. I should have noticed after watching so many TB and Jesse videos...

I only watch Sips and Sjin when they are togheter. Same thing with Simon and Lewis. The Yogscast are funnier in numbers, so I just ignore their videos when they are alone (Except Duncan who is very informative) Lewis IS smart IF you give him time to learn stuff and a good teacher. Simon is better mining Diggy Diggy Holing than relying on machines to do that for him.

Look at who's trying to get EE out of Tekkit so that people can't play it as easily. Some people like EE. Good for those people. Some people don't like EE. They can EASILY disable it on their server or play in a server that has it disabled. If EE gets out of Tekkit: The people that don't like EE get a SLIGTLY easier life. The people who DO like EE Have to install it manualy, coordinate the versions they are going to install and have to Uninstall EE Every time they want to play on a server with EE disabled. I say: Currently it works and in my opinion it is the best way.

I agree. I think there should be 2 different EMC values. One for Vanilla and one for Technic/Tekkit. In vannila minecraft 1 bone = 3 bonemeal ( I think) but you can macerate the bone in IC2 to get 5 bonemeal ( If I remember well)
