  1. [17:40:01] [sEVERE] java.io.FileNotFoundException: vanillabinmodpack.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)

I'm thinking maybe your computer can't find modpack.jar. Maybe it's read-only, maybe it doesn't exist. I dunno, I'm not on your computer.

  2. While I appreciate your opinion, would you mind getting your sight checked? It seems you missed the part about not posting if you're not on the Technic Team/Forum Staff.

Hi, you're not allowed to make rules on our forum.

  3. The issue is there that there is no warning that juvenile behavior is to be expected and promoted. Even if it violates the rules. So if you make a serious post some 5th grader is going to come in and try to be funny. And then the thread is over.

I think you're seeing it the wrong way. Serious, good posts, that follow the rules, and aren't written by morons, are NEVER ridiculed. Anyone who would, is always warned. You haven't been around long enough.

  4. my point was that there is an config and that ppl that transmute everything are hating the default setings.

There are some of ppl that like default setings but most of those ppl know how to change the config so if it came whit easy setings or have an seting that turns hard more ON/OFF that would be great.

Please get off your high horse. You're implying that you're better than others because you use gregtech which is hard, and not EE2, which you deem easy. Please just seriously shut up.

  5. Unfortunately this isn't the case. I am Macerating and then Smelting everything that I get, yet I am still getting mixed ingot types as a result. I am constantly having to go back and forth to the Lexicon-Plinth thing just to keep my ingots from turning into a chaotic (and unstacking) mess. Sometimes I get "Copper".. other times I get "Copper Ingots" .. and sometimes I get "Copper Ingots (Factorization)". It's exceedingly confusing and severely stupid.

The development team really needs to consolidate the ore types like in Tekkit Classic, so we don't have this issue. I guarantee it is going to scare off new players due to confusion (because that is what it is doing to me).

They haven't explained very well. You're supposed to turn off all types of ore generation, except for one. Doesn't matter which, they all work, you the technic team just picked one. The Lexicon was made so that people could use worlds that were already generated, with multiple ores.

  6. How does the Induction Furnace allow duping Iron?

The only thing I know of which can do something even remotely close to that is the Induction Smelter, which requires Rich Slag. There's a small chance you get Rich Slag when smelting ores with sand. And you can't get more rich slag without ores.

No, he's actually right for once. It's a bug. Cook a water bucket in an induction furnace
