  1. Antivirus Program: Norton There is your problem , Norton is blocking you downloading and/or starting the program My personal opinion you should drop Norton (it is awful) and try Microsoft Essentials much better and alot easier on your computer.
  2. Java Version : 64bit Really!! What gets me is he put the wrong information but in the right format. Did he read the rules or not?
  3. Really ? If it showing as a rar file then you should right click it and where is says "open with" have it open with java. Also uninstall winrar and try using 7-zip instead , much better program .
  4. Wow epic post. 1) Wrong section 2) Wrong format 3) Not near enough information I don't see you getting much help with your problem until you read the rules for posting bugs reports and learn to use the search function to try and find the answers yourself.
  5. People on the forums just get very frustrated with being asked the same questions over and over, when 2 mins of effort using the search bar could get them the answer on their own .
  6. Holy Necro Post Batman! , really tho there is no use and replying to a thread that is 20 days old . If he hasnt found the problem and fixed it by now then he has given up and moved on.
  7. Still I would try and remove the texture pack and see if still crashes with the default textures.
  8. Build a full size to scale reproduction of the great pyramid complete with rooms and outer casings. Also make sure to add the Sphinx. All made out of red matter blocks.
  9. Ok i may never jump into a pool again. As to the eyes the exploding , I can only assume it is like Lovecraftion lore, None may look upon the true form of the Old Ones for the flesh will fail to hold the sight.
  10. Try moving the 256x texture pack out of Techinc (forcing the program to use the default textures ) and see if you still get the error. If you don't then you will most likely need to use either the 128x or 64x version, they both are linked in the Textures section of the forums. There could be something wrong with the texture pack itself causing a memory leak. Good luck.
  11. Wow was that a curve I saw in Minecraft ....no couldn't have been that would be to awesome to handle. All kidding aside that is amazing and opens up many possibilities that could change the way people play minecraft. Great Job.
  12. Wow just wow , I really needed this post tonight . Thank you OP for all the laughs and I have to applaud Freakachu on his restraint , I'm not sure I could have done the same.
  13. Also next time try using the Common Problems and Solutions section of the forums it has this very problem listed and how to solve it .
  14. Without a error log or something more than "It loads for 1 second then it disappears " we wont be able to help you much. Try looking at Common Problems and Solutions and see if anything there helps you.
  15. # JRE version: 7.0_05-b06 # Java VM: Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (23.1-b03 mixed mode windows-amd64 compressed oops) # Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows He was already using 64bit java but a fresh install shouldnt hurt anything.
  16. Here is a lightened up version if you want it (sorry the colors washed out some).
  17. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/350344-allocating-more-memory-to-java-windows/ Check this topic out and see if that helps you any. Alot of times windows will allocate a really small amount of memory to the Java process and that kind or error can happen.
  18. That i cant help you with I only use Technic , but as this is most likely a separate problem i would make a new bug post about it.
  19. Your problem is =Antivirus Program: norton 360 You will either have to uninstall Norton (which i highly recommend) or you will have to look up how to get Norton to white list it. You should look into http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials it is free works very well .
  20. Try just making a shortcut of launcher.jar and put it on your desktop and try launching the mod pack with that .
  21. try uninstalling all versions of Java then up your java to the newest java 7 version.
