Just a complete fail fest. 1) Read all the stickies (every time someone doesn't read the stickies a baby seal gets clubbed , don't you feel guilty now) 2) Use the forum search function 3) If you still haven't found your answer (you most likely will) then post a correctly formatted error report.

They are all much nicer than me , I would have just said if you don't trust the Devs here: 1) Delete your forum account 2) Delete Technic from your computer (1 and 2 are interchangeable) 3 ) Don't let the door hit ya on the ass on the way out. but that is just me, I'm not as nice as some of these guys.

I would try disabling mob spawners and see if that clears up the error.

Try uninstall both Java 6 and Java 7 and then Install the latest stable build of Java 7 and try again.

Are you using the .exe launcher or the .jar launcher . If it is the .exe launcher try using the .jar launcher and running it as admin and then let us know if that helps.

You should be required to read thru the stickies and take a test before you can sign up for a forum account.

I'm not a expert but I'm pretty sure that Tekkit or Techinc neither one will run on 256mb of ram.

Does anyone else think that Skyrim's main story line was way to short ? I completed it in about 6 hours or so and since then really haven't played it very much. I love the graphics and most of the mechanics but the quests seem lacking to me compared to the TES games.

According to this page http://www.java.net/node/664117 it means you are trying to run the java application with a outdated version of Java and need to update . I would uninstall all the versions of Java on your computer then install the latest stable build for your OS and see if that helps

Re: Next Go-Around, please configure the pack better for balance and gameplay I have to say that is seems to me that OP should fix these problems on his own server instead of expecting a group of people who are putting out a great tech mod pack for free and already spending tons of time on it.

Re: so sick of youtube f-....arts. <3 I use both Windows (XP and Win7) and Linux (Ubuntu and Mint) because i like to experiment with different things , I also like to see what makes different distros work and how they differ. I have never understood why people rage on one or the other , they both have good and bad points . Use what you want and like or do like me and use all of them (working on setting up a Mac now ) and have fun with it.

I have to be honest i wouldn't let my son on this forum ...while i enjoy the antics and the attitude of the people who post here, probably 70% of the content just isn't appropriate.

Its not really anything anyone can do ... Tekkit server takes a true beast of a machine to run without lag, even professionally hosted servers will bog down when everyone starts building and sending items thru pipes. You could try and disable some of the mods till you get a set up that works with less lag. That is the only thing i can think of to try and make it more playable.
