Great game well worth the money.

I did alot of searching and the only suggestion that seems to work for most people is redownloading the launcher and try using either the .exe or .jar and see one of those works for you.

1) completely wrong way to post a bug report (read the rules) 2) this took me around 20 sec to find out what this meant with a google search . Try finding answers for yourself.

This has been on the forums , most likely hundreds of times ...use the search function next time.

Make a back up copy of your worlds first.

Disable your antivirus while downloading the files, alot of antivirus programs will block the download.

Really a double post on the same issue , that will get ya in trouble fast on this forum.

The only thing i have ever had it be incompatible with was the Philosophier Stone being in your inventory when you use CB3 it cause to many recipes to be possible and will crash the client. I have used it on Technic and not had any crashing problems so far but i always make sure to put my PS in a bag before using the table.

This took me around 30sec to find the answer on Google, remember search is your friend. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL it seems you need to update your LWJGL files, give that shot and let us know if that fixes the problem.

It is most likely a Optifine problem ..just do a search on the forums for "optifine problems" and you will most likely find your answers.

Once again no one ever uses the search function on the forums.

Last I had read on their forums , production of new content and updates have stopped the main developer has quit the project and it will no longer be developed. If that is the case its still worth the 4$ but just go into with your head up .

Play one game at a time and stop bitching about a loading screen of a free program that you downloaded to save yourself alot of work. If that is to much trouble then install all the mods yourself into vanilla minecraft then you wont have to put up with that horrible 15 sec that is just tearing up your life so bad. My personal choice would be for you to take your happy ass somewhere else and stop complaining about a awesome launcher you are using for free.

Sphax already has a 64x version on these forums, the search function is your friend.

I dont have any trouble running any of the Technic mod packs and I have only allocated 512mb of memory , with around 40fps with everything on "fast" in optifine . 1.5gb should be more than enough.

OMG. So many things wrong with this post it just boggles the mind. This should be a sticky on the most inept way to fill out the bug form and why you should never do it this way.

Go ahead and redownload the newest java and install it and see if that helps , windows should know the default program to open .jar files is Java . On another point what else is in the list when it asked you what program to use, if you have multiple instances of java on your computer , uninstall all of them and do my suggestion above and see if that helps it work.

I wonder if we should have a mandatory IQ test before the download button for Technic/Tekkit is usable?

Its very easy to test , install optifine in your vanilla minecraft and see if the framerate issues go away .
