How would the program differentiate whether it was standalone or in a modpack? Even then, how would it know which modpack it was in?

OK, so you have tried to run it as an administrator. Have you tried to run it from the actual administration account instead of just "as an admin?"

On the other hand though, you could always take some screens of your world, make one in technic using the same seed, then spawn everything in in roughly the same area. Just an idea.
