There is a file called Lastlogin or something similar. Delete that and it should be fixed.

It does store some energy but not in a way you can measure to my knowledge. If you are going to use multiple quarries at once, use the MFSU to energy link.

There are several pack patches on the bdcraft site that will add the tekkit textures to the original pack. Just search the site for it and it should give you installation instructions too.

Did you add it into the Minecraft.jar or the modpack.jar?

Wouldn't altering those values change how they are supposed to operate normally? Could they be assigned to not work in specific area?

Try just removing buildcraft from the mod folder, if that doesn't work, then yes, MCEdit will remove *all* mod items and your world will be "lost" anyway.

The only way I've seen so far has been using MCEdit to "reset" the chunk, but if you do that, all of your other mod items are going to be turned to dirt or disappear.

Well, unfortunately, teleport pipes are notoriously buggy. Sometimes they will never reconnect to a given frequency or crash out if you access them while flying. If you have the option, use another type of pipe.

Are you flying when you access the teleport pipe GUI?

The .jar has nothing to do with windows or Linux. It is a file type used by Java.

You'd probabaly have a better bet with the Batarians.

Disable your antivirus and or firewall and try again. Also, trust me, it's not in 1.3.2.
