Redpower has not updated since 1.4.7, so don't expect those computers to ever make it back into the pack. It just can't be added, no matter how much someone begs.
-
None of the admins are big fans of popularity-contest features. I suspect the only reason there even is a +1 on custom packs is because any other metric the platform records in too easy to game. So don't hold your breath on a feature explicitly designed to game the system by purchasing votes from users.

I don't think you quite grasped the subtle sarcasm of Valkon's warning to you. This is not x-box live, nor is it your gradeschool playground, 4chan, or any other physical or virtual gathering place where "your mom" is valid conversation. You are not surrounded by your family who will tolerate you, nor your peers who all think cussing someone out is a fun way to exert dominance over someone else and make them obey you. You are alone on an internet forum full of people smarter and older than you who will not put up with your whiny shit. dwwojcik's comment was on topic, factually correct, and was an attempt to save you being banned from the website completely for facilitating piracy. Though with your response it makes me believe you're using a hacked launcher to play platform packs on pirated minecraft.

So far everything bad in that thread has been directed at the title and not the fact there's a competitor LUA interpreter mod. Even cloudy's response seems more annoyed with the claim in the title than having competition.

[1.6.x/1.5.x] Redstone In Motion (Redpower Frames) 2.3.0.0 (October 8)
Neowulf replied to jakj's topic in Modders Metropolis
By completely rewriting it. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/1-6-4-forge-opencomputers.55582/ -
Meh, emulation for compatibility is a good thing. It being not worth the work just means the good addons like open peripherals will have to be made compatible. Which is why open source is just awesome.
-
Rollbacks are a minor speedbump considering that this brings to the party, especially when combine with RiM. Execution persistence through unloads/resets is a huge gamechanger. I notice your have the CC API in the codebase. Is this compatible with existing CC peripherals? Or did you include is so your stuff can be used as CC peripherals?
-
This is pretty cool. I'll definitely be trying this out. Quick question, when you say native libraries crash and world cannot be saved, does that mean no last second save by the server and the world is rolled back a bit, or world is beyond saving and corrupt?

[1.6.4] Issue with custom server: rollback chunks: Mac
Neowulf replied to Der Artz's topic in Platform Pagoda
Contact the modpack author. We do not support custom modpacks. -
Then you're doing it wrong. I know what the problem is and I know the fix has been posted many times before. I also know that until you learn the concept of patience you'll never apply the fix correctly.
-
So you read the rules like I told you to and while it fixed your first problem, it's not leading you to the answer of this extremely common and hundred-times-answered problem? I do believe you're fibbing me billy.
-
Well now billy, it seems you never actually read my first post to you. I told you exactly what you needed to do and you still have yet to do it.

Optifine is perfectly up to date for 1.5 It's not like another version for 1.5 will be out with efforts going into 1.6 and 1.7.

Luke’s (Hopefully) comprehensive modpack making guide.
Neowulf replied to lukeb28's topic in Platform Pagoda
Fishing out item ID conflicts is a time honored modpack creation tradition that Mojang is callously putting a stop to in 1.7+ But yeah, forge will alert you with a warning in the log, but overwriting item IDs doesn't crash the game like doing it with block IDs will, so minecraft keeps chugging along. This is why I use a local server install to setup modpacks. It's quicker and the log doesn't contain a bunch of entries for art assets so it's easier to search through. As for location, the whole of platform pagoda is for custom modpack support. -
Ok. Presented for your viewing pleasure/disgust/ambivalence/pickle is the new Kittyjail series. Kittyjail is a private server/pack created by some forum regulars of the Kittyjail thread in offtopic. Mainly just a place for us to putz around with the mods we feel like, with or without an endgame goal in mind. Based on MC 1.6.4, the pack contains most of the mods found in the current Tekkit pack and a whole host of other stuff, like Biomes-o-Plenty, Natura, Bibliocraft, Ars Magica, and Thaumcraft. I will be streaming as much as I can over twitch, and will be shifting videos to youtube as I figure it out. I might figure out editing in the future, but for now it'll be raw. Yes, this is my first time streaming. But I figured if I can make an arse of myself as a magician for Disney, this shouldn't be any different. Twitch stream can be found here: http://www.twitch.tv/neowulf2world https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuXnZpnuBe5S0_u2ELLxWNQ Other streams will hopefully be added from the some other Kittyjailers.

Don't make me cane you billy. You're being quite rude and disrespectful by ignoring the help given in your three other threads.
-
I prefer the title moderator, not spam filter. Sadly this link is actually on topic. It's an internet petition trying to gather 10,000 signatures and somehow force some guy to give the other guy control of a pack currently tied with 8 other packs for the 287th spot in the platform rankings. Though if miss stereotypicalgirlsname tries to spread this low grade drama else where again I will consider it spam and clean it.
-
So you're the one who starts those "Click Like to stop/cure <major social problem/horrible disease>!" posts on facebook. What shadowy council do you work for and what do they have to gain by destroying every shred of faith in humanity I could even dream of having?
-
The good money is on an ME network reset, but it is entirely possible for it to have a bug of some sort with large orders of external crafting recipes.
-
Connecting or disconnecting a part of an ME network causes crafting queues to reset. Most likely you added a cable or bus or something and cause it to forget the rest of the job you requested.
-
Cross MC version definitely won't work. Classic seeds will still be random. Lite the same. Current tekkit: I'm just assuming sohn is using the latest and didn't just screw up the test or miss-interpret similar spawns as identical. I can't be arsed to verify right now and for all I know he and his friend connected to the same server, saw the same oil spawns, and called it identical world gen. So yeah. If true I applaud whoever at BC finally tied oil spawns to the worldgen seed instead of a quick and dirty time seed.
-
Historically oil spawns did not respect world gen seed and were infact completely random. Good to see someone on the BC team decided to correct that oversight.
-
Making the assemblies then smelting it uses 2 redstone dust instead of 1 and damages the quartz cutting tool (worth 1 iron and 2 quartz, any type). But it is less power intensive by a lot and much faster.
-
As long as you don't have the table set to do BC and AE recipes it works fine. A single table with a single interface can do both basic and advanced processors from AE without any problems.
