A lot was changed internally in 1.6 and it's hard to migrate to, so it will be a while before Technic officially supports 1.6.2.

Give me the Pack URL so I can see whats going on.

WHAT THE FUCK JIM?

Can anyone assist me in this matter? I know I sound like an idiot, not knowing how to get a mod to work, but I see there's a missing class file. So I'm assuming there's a separate MP version of UgoCraft, which is strange in post 1.3, but I guess it still happens. If anyone can link me to a 1.5.2 download for a server version please tell me. I looked all around the modder's site and found nothing. I know it's not an MCPC+ issue nor a conflict with other mods.

So I have a custom modpack that I made and I host it on DropBox. When people try to download it it says they're missing Forestry, and a whole bunch if other mods and files. So it seems like DropBox is cutting the file short, which is strange. It's about a 216 MB file, and that should be fine. Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks. Here's some info Platform URL: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/maxtech

So I made a custom modpack with UgoCraft, and the client loads fine. But when I try to start a server with just UgoCraft it gives me this crash report: http://pastebin.com/ci3GQybt Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this or at the very least tell me what is going on in the crash report? That would be very helpful, thanks.

Switching back to Dropbox after slimming down some unnecessary stuff, hope I won't have to jump ship to other file hosting sites again.

I think I fixed the problem. It works now. Real proud of myself for getting this many mods to work .

Oops, I guess I should include the modpack URL for the Technic Launcher, here it is http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/maxtech

I recently made a modpack that in zip form takes up over 340 MB of space. Since it was too big for DropBox, I decided to use Ubuntu One. When I hosted the modpack.zip there and told people to update the pack it says "Error unzipping ModPack". Can anyone help me with this matter?

Also another more serious question. SInce my file was too big to host on DropBox I am hosting it on Ubuntu One now and when people try to update the pack it says "Error Unzipping Modpack". Can anyone help please?

I recently made a giant custom modpack. And I don't kid when I say giant. With about 180 mods, 340 MB of space the modpack.zip takes up, do you think it's a bit much or is it fine? Lag is sort of taken care of with Optifine, but is it too much bad? I'm just asking cause I'm curious, and wondering if anyone has any bigger packs they've made or know of. Kind of a silly question, but would just like to know if anyone thinks I need to trim it down, thanks.

I've recently made a pretty big custom modpack, with well over 100 mods. I've finally gotten it to the point where it doesn't crash and loads up, all ID conflicts see to be resolved. I set up a server, and am hosting it locally on my computer (which runs Mac OS X). I seem to be able to log in and play perfectly fine on any Mac, but when I go on a PC running any other OS (i.e. Windows) it has ID mismatches, and the clients ids seem to be mismatched and shifted down 256. I am aware that Forge sometimes shifts item ids by 256, but it only seems to be happening on Mac. What is going on? If anyone wants more details and to see it for themselves, try out my modpack and try logging into the server (IP is built in), if anyone could help I would HUGELY appreciate it. And yes, I have made sure the server and client configs are the same, and have gone through countless NEI ID Map Dumps. Technic ModPack URL: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/industrial-revival

Hey guys, IMPORTANT UPDATE. We are no longer a BigDig server, and have thus switched to FTB Ultimate. As this is the Technic forums I can't post any info here, but the IP is now ftb.maxcraft.us:25965 More info will come soon, including a link to the new forum post.

Ok I've heard the cries and we'll add Bukkit again, but this means ChocoCraft will have to go, due to the fact that it crashes with MCPC+ -

Oh by the way, we are considering ditching MCPC+ and therefore bukkit, to go for a vanilla route. Would people be okay with this? -

For some reason the read keeps timing out every few hours. Will look nto, possibly related to one of the mods. -
Anyone know a place with more info on the pack, like a tutorial?
-
Running a server for Hexxit, I've noticed that (at least in multiplayer) things are very unstable. I.e. the server crashes every few hours and there is a ton of lag even though I normally get none. Anyone else experiencing the same on multiplayer?
-
I'm getting the same thing every few hours on my server, it's really annoying.

Note: Our server will be down until further notice, due to issues with the modpack. Once everything is more stable and the server is back up we will let you know! In the meantime feel free to try out our Vanilla and Tekkit servers! Vanilla: server.maxcraft.us Tekkit: tekkit.maxcraft.us:25965 -
