RavenUchiha104 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) So I have been piecing together this modpack for the last few weeks. I decided that I wanted to upload it on here so some of my buddies on my server could try it out and maybe run it on a server. After uploading it I tried to load it up on the launcher and everytime I launch it, the launcher reappears after a few seconds after disappearing and the Minecraft window never appeared. With this being my first modpack, I dont have a clue what to look for in terms of troubleshooting this. Any help yall can provide would be absolutely amazing. Here is a link to the dropbox of the modpack https://www.dropbox.com/s/t8335h42zyqexsp/modpack.zip?dl=0 and a link to the technic download http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/raven-eternia Thanks Again! Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 1, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 1, 2015 Since you are making a Forge/MC 1.6.4 modpack you need to include Lexmanos' legacy java fixer: http://t.co/9olGYnwZBi You should not include TConstruct_Library in your pack. That is only for developers. Your OptiFine is quite out of date and should be updated. You have not included any config files in your modpack archive. This is always bad and, for Forge/MC 1.6.4 packs, often fatal.
RavenUchiha104 Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 How do you get the config files?
CharZinta Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 How do you get the config files? When you run the server for the first time it will generate them. If your trying to make an SSP mod pack then you need to launch the mod pack at least once before making the download file.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 1, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 1, 2015 More generally speaking, the process of building a pack should involve much testing and starting of the pack as you work through configuration changes, mod additions, balance, etc. Once you finish that process the /config/ folder will be full of all your config files. This folder and its contents must be included in your modpack archive. RavenUchiha104 1
